BOOTS
« on: June 30, 2005, 12:14:41 PM »
I have been searching for some desert tac/military boots.  I cant seem to find any of my desert bdu's, and boots.  (I may have left them in CA) Well, I went down to Millers to buy some desert Magnums..as I love my black magnums..but they dont have my size...just 11 1/2-13, and aI need a 12.  Who else would carry those?  I would like to have them bought and ready for the game on the 3rd....or I will have to wear my black Magnums...   :?

It was once believed that Chuck Norris actually lost a fight to a
pirate, but that is a lie, created by Chuck Norris himself to lure more pirates to him. Pirates never were very smart.

  Popular.  That's where I got mine, and I wear a size 13.  :)

If you don't have your heart set on desert magnums, there are several other boots that are great.

Mant of us in AA have the Wellco Desert VCL ICB with Tuffkushion sole and love them.  They run about 75-80 bucks.

I think I paid $50 for 'em at Popular, but I think they were also on sale.  You ight want to look into Azsarge's post as well.  For a few extra bucks, you might be able to get a better boot.  :)

I seccond the wellco boots, I wear mine to work and they are so comfortable, well worth what I paid for them. Make sure you amplify the comfortability with some good thorlo socks! I got my boots from practical tactical. Thanks TimW!
