Game Saturday June 3 (9am - 2 pm)
« on: May 31, 2006, 01:00:48 PM »
June 3 Southwest Paintball Airsoft Games (9 am – 2 pm)

Next games at SWPB are on Saturday June 3. Remember to bring any old gear or guns you may want to sell. We will be setting up a mini Airsoft SWAP meet. The Marauders will sell your gear for you while you play.

About Southwest Paintball

This is a great location for airsoft as it has seven fields featuring an old ghost town, a castle, pirate ship, and a giant field with towers and trenches. Minors are welcome to play at Southwest with a waiver signed by a parent or guardian. Take the opportunity to visit SoftAir Depot and get more information about the game. There is a field fee of only $20 per player. Visit www.southwestpaintball.com for directions and pictures of the field

There is a carpool available for the game ($5/person). Carpool leaves SoftAir Depot at 8:00 am and returns at 3:30 pm. Send a pm to get a space.

Field guidelines require players who are under 18 years of age to wear full face mask protection.  This requirment is primarily to protect younger players' faces and teeth due to the close engagment distances at Southwest Paintball.

No shooting glasses are allowed on the field during games.  Eye protection must be sealed.

As for wearing civilian clothes, these will work just fine at the game as the scenarios will be based on "insurgents" vs US and Iraqi Forces.

Well, I had fun at my first game hosted by AAMike.  Hopefully next time there will be more Marauders and more of my team to practice.  There are Pros and Cons about playing with minors, but the fact that we all seem to have had a good time is what matters.  And damn Arizona... soooo hot!  Thanks Mike, for making the game happen, and giving an interesting storyline/scenario.  I also had fun shooting with Spaz... you're one bad-ass wingman...

Oh yeah... and did anyone find a dummy grenade in the Southeast corner of the villiage inside the green building?   :(
