A lot of  adult airsofters are former, or current, or reservists. It just adds the realism and some danger to the fun.

But that is kind of like saying, well, you want to cook, so why not become a chef. Or perhaps, if I want to buy a gun, why don't I open a gun store.

Heck, why not? I've seen rides into a "hot" LZ with a private Jetranger years ago at big paintball games.

Today, $400.00+ an hour from the FBO will get you a R-22 or Sweitzer, maybe a Bell 47 if you can find one. A Jetranger or Huey? big $$$$.

Well, I have a few hours in the R-22 and can tell you it's not going to carry a 3rd person, Empty weight is about 750, with 20g of fuel its about 930lbs and MTOW is just under 1400 pounds. Unless you are dropping skinnies(somalians)into the LZ with this bird, it's a no go.

Can't speak for the S300C but it's smaller than the R-22. I have flown in a Jet Long ranger not too long ago and it was a hell of an experience. It was a 2008 and had serious power. In the short 20minute flight I was quite amazed.
