Jesus, I feel terrible for Andy. Michigan airsoft looks like sh*t.

Kind of neat ebay item though. 50 bucks isn't bad to rent all that stuff (kinda highend guns) for awhile. Cheaper than pball.

yeah, sounds like a good idea.   I've played with these guys in the old Chrysler building that they used to rent.  But they weren't bringing in enough money to keep renting it.  I hope this works out for them

That looks very interesting.  I think the biggest problem that faces a business like that is INSURANCE.  Leave it to the lawyers to screw things up.  I wonder how they handled that.

An area that large would be great to play on, especially with all the shacks and fox holes in place.

I've played with those guys, they just had a big event on the 21st (I couldn't go was in NH). They want $25 for a regular field day, $50 for an event.  The woods are so thick you really have to pump a lot of BB's out to nail somebody.  They rented a CQB building last year.  Insurance isn't a huge deal, I looked into it before.

Here's some pics from a local game, look at how thick the woods are.  The 'razor' bush is worse than cactus cause it tears the skin.

How are the games played out down there? Just, you tell who's who by the little tags on the arm? No separate camo settings?

They also look lowspeed. Are they cool? :-P

Revolutionary it is not, but it's not a bad marketing scheme for poor backwoods airsofters.

Yeah Razor bush is definately worse than cactus, It sucks when trying to sneak up and crawl throught it.  It's definately something that I don't miss.  And The Woods are thick...  You just have to choose your shots.  It's kind of annoying though with all the spray and pray that goes on.. But the battles were always fun

Yeah At times they are lowspeed, But they can pick up very easily.  I've played in games where the tape on the arm is the difference between teams.  But also sometimes one team is green, one team is tan..  It just depends on who is putting it on.  Airsoft in Michigan is still fun.. I have yet to play out here, because I just don't have the $$ for it right now.  but i'm working on it

There are a lot of capture the bunker games, pace is a little slower, its REALLY hard to be stealthy.  I'm not a big fan of arm bands, but Tan would stick out way too much.  AO's are few and far between, land is a lot cheaper out here than in AZ so its not hard to find somebody that airsofts and own 25+ acres.

Well, Andy.. I think it needs to be multicam vs. woodland.

Are they all honest, cool players? You need to get them into gear, and get every single one of those guys to learn some safety. Just tell them to "keep their #$%@ finger off that #$%@ trigger, till they are #$%@ ready to fire that #$%@ gun." and it should work. :-P

Ya they are all honest players (most important trait of an airsofter) they are safe which is cool.  Airsofting out here doesn;t have the same following as in AZ, prolly the weather.

The ACO group just posted the schedule for the CQB/MOUNT games held in a old Chrystler building that they rent.
