new posts aren't showing up when i check the forum index. there'll be a new post there, but it wont show an orange paper or w/e.

It happens to me all the time when I use my laptop, but I think it has to do with the internet connection. My laptop has Verizon wireless internet, and my computer has cox high speed. And it only happens when I use the wireless internet.

This may help:

There's a button in the upper right hand corner (and in the little menu thingy at the top, with all the other things, PMs, CoC, etc) that says "New Posts" (the one at the top) and "Show Posts Since Last Visit" (corner).  That is, in my opinion, the one thing that every forum should have.. Use it. ;)
