Airsoft Items FOR SALE / WTS: KSC Glock 34
« on: August 09, 2014, 07:20:55 AM »
Looking to sell my KSC Glock 34. For those of you who don't know, that's the longslide version with the Glock 17/18 grip/frame, and an extended slide release and magazine release. Comes with FIVE magazines, four standard 25-round magazines and an extended 49-round FPG magazine (missing its floorplate, but still 100% operational). Three of the mags have tan Magpul Speedplates on them. All mags hold gas perfectly. Comes in the original box, with the useless speed loader and factory BBs, and the rest of my green gas (maybe 80% of a bottle) since it's my last GBB pistol. The original front sight fell off, so it's got a genuine Glock front sight on it now. Tip still painted orange, except where it's worn off the edges a bit. No trademarks on the gun, it's slab-sided and marking-free. Haven't played since Fear Farm and don't really have time to start again so there's no point in keeping my guns.

Asking $250 OBO for the bundle. No parting out mags, no trades (unless that trade is cash money). I've got bills, man. If it helps, I've got a Squarecard reader and can take credit/debit cards.

Airsoft Items WANTED / WTB: KWA/KSC Glock front sight
« on: December 28, 2012, 06:33:16 AM »
Looking to pick up a replacement front sight for my KSC G34 after the original fell off and got lost during a game. I know I can buy them from the KWA store, but I'd spend more in shipping than the thing even costs, so fuck that. The original front sight is fine, I just need something to aim with. Not looking to pay more than KWA prices ($6) for OEM, though.

Who here would prefer a Sunday game at Fear Farm over a Saturday game?

EDIT: Day games, in case anybody's confused.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Fear Farm night games (maybe)
« on: November 26, 2012, 03:02:59 PM »
So at last weekend's game at Fear Farm, I heard some talk about how PSC should hold a night game there sometime soon. Now I'm not the head honcho in this outfit, so no promises, but I figure it can't hurt to ask: If PSC held a night game at some time in the future, who would be interested in coming, and what day of the week should it be?

Real Firearms / Arizona Rifleworks
« on: November 21, 2012, 07:16:12 PM »
Hey all, if anybody is interested in getting a custom AR-15 built for them, my friend and I are starting up a company, Arizona Rifleworks, to cater to that need for you. Whether you're looking to build to a specific purpose, a specific price, or a combination of both, we can build it to your needs. And we do have experience, in fact both of us are running AR-15s that we built from the ground up. We can also do simple gunsmithing and most armory work on the more popular models of rifle, pistol, and shotgun.

If you're interested, give us a call: 623-282-AZRW (2979)

General Airsoft Discussion / The Trouble with Vanguard
« on: November 17, 2012, 01:42:42 AM »
Okay, so OP: Zombie Hunter had its share of problems, and not minor among those were our problems with Vanguard. Now, some of this is firsthand, and which bits those are should be obvious, and some of it is hearsay from fairly reliable sources. First off, they agreed to keep our signup sheet there so that those of you who live in the east valley could go and pre-register. Now, I went down there personally and didn't see the signup sheet (or any of our handout flyers) clearly visible anywhere, but I didn't ask about it. Apparently many of you asked on multiple occasions, and were told that Vanguard wasn't a pre-order location. One or two of you fought them on the point and were allowed to pre-order there. This will be important later. At the same time, they were telling PSC that nobody was coming in to pre-order, and everyone there knew about the sign-up sheet etc. etc.

Apparently for a while they were also spreading rumors about our game, that nobody should go because it would be "unsafe". I personally saw that someone had been told that the last mission in particular would be bad, and he recommended to one of our attendees that he should "wear extra padding". Now, for those of you who attended, it was pretty obvious we didn't change the last mission, as without the corn it was admittedly pretty shitty. The civilians had no maze to navigate for their mission: "escape the AO alive", and simply ran straight for the exit, meeting no resistance beyond a few wide shots from the paramilitary as they moved to complete their own mission. And, obviously, nobody was injured.

Finally, they scheduled a lock-in for the night of our event, apparently with the purpose of occupying their employees and giving them an excuse not to attend our Op. The lock-in, it should be noted, was scheduled months after we'd already picked a day for our Op. They were supposed to be there, and they were supposed to bring both a chronograph and the pre-order money. They did neither, saying "we need to be here to help with the lock-in". Luckily, Nukeduster was gracious enough to let us use his chronograph, and even swung by Vanguard on his way out to Glendale to pick up the pre-order money... which they refused to give him, even after PSC authorized it. Last I heard, they are demanding that PhoenixShadowCompany himself go down to Gilbert to pick it up, which is a bit out of the way for someone living in the northwest valley. Either one of them can corroborate that, I'm not absolutely 100% sure how that went down.

Now here's some more of the hearsay bit: we hear that they've done this repeatedly to other groups running events - they agree to help, then they sabotage the event at every possible turn. And in addition, we hear that they've started, without any instigating event, to randomly search VIP players' belongings without cause or provocation, and without that player being present to witness the search, and that some of said players have reported items going missing after finding their bags rifled through.

So I ask, does anybody here have a similar story to tell about their own experiences in partnering with Vanguard, or, for special bonus points, can anybody give a firsthand account of what VIP employees told them about our game and why it was supposedly dangerous?

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Misc gear - UPDATED 5/30
« on: May 23, 2012, 05:49:22 PM »
NO TRADES

I've got a handful of other items I'm also looking to get rid of, so let's get to it with those too:

$15 - Desert 3-color DCU/BDU pants, Med/Long, otherwise fine.
$15 - Desert digital BDU pants, Small/Long. Needs a button reinforced as it's starting to come loose, hardly worn.

 – All clothing is for sale simply because it no longer fits me.

Real-steel Blackhawk forend for Remington 870 -  Came with my SpecOps stock, but I like my Magpul pump handle better. Unused, uninstalled, might as well be brand new.

FAB Defense FGG-S folding vertical grip. Excellent condition. Works great on any long gun, looks badass on a Glock. I'm pretty sure it was designed to fit a Glock 18 in the first place as it conforms to the trigger guard perfectly when folded. Do NOT put on a real-steel Glock, that would be a felony.

Make offer - Box of Romanian(?) surplus 7.62x25 Tokarev ammunition. I believe it was a box of 72 rounds originally, I shot somewhere in the neighborhood of 3-5 rounds total, so it's opened with almost 70 rounds left in it. Brass cased, corrosive primed. Ammo shot okay, but the gun was out of spec and jammed terribly so I gave up.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Fear Farm Zombie Game
« on: April 30, 2012, 09:39:24 AM »
So PSC has been in touch with the guys who run Fear Farm, and they say they'd be down for hosting a zombie game out there sometime this fall. We're just wondering, how many people would be interested in showing up to shoot zombies or volunteer to be zombies? If we can get enough interest, we can definitely make this happen.

Is it just my connection being funny, or has AA gone down every night this week in the wee hours of the morning?

Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Gear for sale
« on: January 28, 2012, 05:14:01 PM »
First up, a pair of desert digicam BDU's. Lightly used (for casual wear, not airsoft), ripstop pattern, waist cinches, blousing straps, button-fly, size small/long (27-31" waist, 32.5-35.5" inseam). Probably made by Tru-Spec, but don't quote me on it. They don't even come close to fitting me any more, so there's no point in keeping them. Asking $20. The top button is a bit loose and could use securing, but it's holding on just fine if you're not a seamstress.

Next up a pair of Condor elbow pads in coyote tan. Used them for one game, didn't really like them. They still look brand-new. My loss is your gain. Bought for $15, selling for $10. Stock photo:

And that's about it. I'm out near Fightertown, so I can meet there, and I attend most/all of the Hatfield games, so that works too. I'll also be at SASCO next weekend for Op: Sayaid.
