Golly, I'll bet someone might be looking at this very public board and wondering what time you go to work or school..... It'd be a hell of a note to find a loved one dead because some thief ran into them at home in the process of stealing YOUR guns y'all get such a hard-on posting pics of. What kind of home defense is that?

Have you visited arizonashooting.com? Take a look at their forums. Posting pictures of real guns is no dofferent than posting pictures of your airsoft guns.

Gas Powered Guns / Re: WE Tech G17

After messing around with the pistol and dry firing and just the way the gun handles I came across a few things that can be iffy or that people already don't like.

The first thing would be the mag release. I personally don't find any problems with it but it seems like a lot of people do. People have complained that if you push the mag release in too far that it will get stuck. Well it does get stuck but you also have to push it in pretty damn far. To get it unstuck all you do is push the mag release in and also push forward towards the barrel and it'll reset to it's original position. There should be no reason to have to push the mag release in that far because the mag releases long before the mag release could get stuck.

Something that bothers me a little bit is the trigger. It's absolutely nothing like a real Glock. Once the gun is cocked the trigger is loose until almost all the way back towards the frame. Once it hits the breaking point it all of a sudden needs quite a bit of pressure. I wouldn't imagine anything over 5 pounds but for an airsoft gas blow back gun I think it's a bit much. The reset is nice but the breaking point is a bit odd.

I just skip over the one liners but it would be nice to see at least a discription of the gun and the history of the gun. I don't mind the threads that don't have pictures, I just ask for pics. Quite a few people don't know how to post pictures on here although it isn't that hard at all.

I'm personally slightly bothered by the idea that they didn't accurately replicate the external dimensions of the G17/22/31. There's nowhere near as much gear out there for the G21 as there is for the G17.

I agree although with a little looking around and visiting any store that sells holsters you can find a molded or kydex holster that will fit this pistol. I already have holsters for my Glock 17 and 22 so I was also disappointed about the dimensions but a little looking around and you can find one for a decent price.

I was thinking about getting the We17 but didn't know how it would function. It looks pretty good from what i saw and read.

Well so far with this WE Glock it seems to work fine. Other than shooting a bit to the left it isn't that bad. It's not comparable with KWA/KSC and Tokio Marui in terms of accuracy but the exterior of this WE, I think, is better than the others on the market.

Here is a simple run of the mil basic accuracy test. I wasn't bench resting and each target had a total of 26 shots fired at it. I was aiming at the central black dot.

15 feet.

30 feet.

I did notice after shooting it at a bush from about 60ft that the gun shot to the left. It's probably a hop up issue but I'll take a look later and see what I find.

Gas Powered Guns / WE Tech G17
« on: February 18, 2013, 05:14:30 PM »
So, I just got a package from the UPS guy and it was my WE Tech G17 with a tan Generation 4 body. Since I own a Glock 22 4th Gen and nobody else on the airsoft market makes a 4th Generation lower for the Glocks, at least not that I can find, I decided to go with the WE Tech. I owned a WE Tech Glock around the time they first came out and I wasn't that impressed with it. It felt cheap, didn't shoot too well and I just didn't really like it. I ordered this Glock from WE because I planned to use it just as a training tool for shooting and feeling comfortable with the odd Gen 4 lower that my Glock 22 sports. I Don't know if I got a lemon the first time I owned a WE Glock or if they have improved upon the Glock since they first released it but I am impressed with this new one.

I just took it out to shoot in the backyard and with one fill of propane I was able to go through four (4) magazines and three shots on the 5th magazine which is a total of 111 shots. Even my KWA ATP and I believe it's a KSC Glock 18 don't even get that many shots with one fill of propane. The plastic/polymer lower feel way better than the KWA and KSC lowers that I have held and a lot better than the Tokyo Marui lowers as well. The slide is a grayish color unlike the first WE I had which had more of a black color. Unfortunately, WE changed the dimensions a bit so it doesn't fit in any kydex or molded Glock 17/22 holster but rather fits in holsters made for the Glock 21. That's not a big deal if you have holsters laying around for a Glock 21 but if you don't, like me, then you might need to buy one if you plan on even using a holster.

I haven't taken it apart and looked at the internals except to adjust the hop up so I can shoot straight with a .28 and from past experience with my other WE Glock, this hop up wheel is a major improvement. The first WE Glock I had wouldn't even hop .25's and I was having a heck of a problem even keeping the wheel in place to hop .23's. This wheel stays in place and even adjusts to hop BB's heavier than .28's. I did notice that the inner barrel is a blue aluminum barrel which is different than the first one I had. From just fondling and shooting those 4-5 Magazines I can already tell the build quality of the externals are way better than the first Glock I had. I don't know much about internals but from the way it shot and how the hop up has improved I can only assume they improved the internals as well.

As I shoot this gun more and more I will come back to this thread and update it with anything that happens to the gun. I don't plan on upgrading it or buying parts for it unless something breaks. I planned on using it just for training and shooting purposes but I think I might actually use it during a few games, once I get a holster for it. From my initial experience I would definitely say if you are looking for a Glock replica and don't want to pay upwards of $200 then pick yourself up a WE Tech Glock. It also helps that the externals look really good.

Pictures were taken with my phone.

So, how did it go, guys? Didn't see or hear anything on the news, so assume nothing huge happened.

Fox 10 and Channel 5 reported it as an "Impeach Obama Rally".

Here are a few things I am looking for. Let me know what you have.

Two (2) WE-Tech or Tokyo Marui Glock 17 Magazines. I Would prefer if they are in working condition and hold gas.

KWA/KSC Glock 17/18 Front Sight.

Glock 9mm/.40 Magazine pouches with belt mount but I'll consider paddle mount too. Something similiar to this http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/2-UM5036-2

Coyote or Tan battle belt. I'm trying to get my hands on a HSGI Battle belt and trying to stay away from Condor but if that's what you have to offer then offer away. I wear a 38 size pants so whatever size battle belt that will work for that size.
