I haven't been there in a while, (6-7 months) but the last time I was in they had a pretty good selection of shit...

Introduce Yourself! / [Yet another] Noob

hello everyone...
so, yeah... I'm new to the sport and the forum;
My name is James, I'm 19, and I live in Mesa.
I guess I would qualify as an ex-paintballer.
I got into paintball 3 years ago; the same guy who got me into paintball introduced me to airsoft; I didn't actually start playing AS until this summer, though.
I stopped playing paintball because, with a kid on the way in 6 months, I really can't afford the upkeep for my paintball gun.
I found this forum through a link on the airsoftplayers.com forum
seeing as I live here in the Valley of the Sun, and I like Airsoft, it felt like a perfect fit.
So, being a newbie, I don't really have any wicked awesome gear yet; I'd like to feel like I've earned a sweet gun before I go and spend my money on one. (I can't bring myself to shoot a gun unless I feel like I can do it justice; I know, I'm wierd!)
I'm also pretty into DIY mods on cheap guns. (I'll post some pictures of my projects when I can put my hands on a camera.)
It's turning out to be a fun way to pass the time; I can't wait to see what I can come up with when I have a little more money to work with...
Well, that's about it, I guess.
I'm off to goof with my cheap ass guns some more, see you all around.
