Reserving my spot for pictures. [:D] I could only afford one, but I'm more than happy with it. 2 standard cap mags (that means 30 rounds), and with a slightly high 25 yard zero, I rang steel at 300 yards all this morning with no holdover. Never done that before. [:D] Will have pics up soon.

How many people are killed by bayonets attached to firearms each year in the US? That's what I want to know.

What moron bans bayonets?

I mean, I'll bet there wasn't a single person bayoneted in the last 20 years inside the US. Is that in the news often? "12 Killed in School Bayoneting." AFAIK the military doesn't even teach soldiers at basic training how to use a bayonet anymore!

Don't forget the dangerous bayonet lug! You could take a nasty spill if someone left one on the floor, or if you got your finger pinched between the bayonet lug and the barrel!

Wouldn't it be a terrible irony if somebody bayoneted that moron senator woman who keeps talking about how dangerous assault weapons are? The potential possibility of her arriving at my door in a consequence-free environment is the only reason I would ever even buy a bayonet.

[:D] Ok, I'm done now.

LoL, Now they will have to make a whole range where all you do is go through a course and bayonet sandbag targets.

And then They will call it a Terrorist Training Camp!

I like AR's too, Paco.  But why so many?  Do you have any other kinds of firearms?

Because I like to collect.  I have *plenty* of different kinds.  The AR's pictured represent a small portion of my collection.  I had to get another safe.  [:D]

Why? As effective as that three round burst probably is, you don't need it. With a little work, and a lot of practice, you can be just as good in semi, if not better, than you would be on three round burst. Besides, $10-12K would buy you a lot more AR15's with the works than you have any real use for. Or a complete arsenal of various weapons. I'm thinking two AR lowers, one collapsible, one not, and about four or five different uppers, all with the works. Then a few nice shotties, handguns, a number of custom made long range rigs. I like my long range toys. [^]

Of course the M16A1 or M4's are full-auto, not the wimpy three-round bursts[:D].

This is true. Of course, that's probably going to be one old M16 you'll be getting. Then again, I suppose all transferable Class III's are pretty old. [:o)]

Still, I'd probably go with something a little different than my AR. Like an MP5, AUG, or whatever. I don't really have a need for Class III items. Fun, you bet. But I can still buy a number of fine firearms for 6K. I'll get a Class III eventually, but now is not the time for me. [B)]
