Gear/motor trouble.
« on: January 18, 2016, 05:42:37 PM »
Hey, I just wanted to know if there are any experienced techs out there who know a little something about diagnosing and fixing guns. My AEG has been having issues lately. The problem is as such: for the most part my AEG shoot flawlessly, However if I shoot just a tad fast on semi, or sometimes if I shoot on full for more than a short burst (Though I know that I don't need to shoot it more than that on full) The motor will like skip the gear or something and make a high pitched whirring noise, and before that after trying to adjust the motor (keep in mind that the adjustment I made was super slight). It wouldn't contact the gear at all, I fixed this by putting a piece of plastic in the motor grip next to the motor to hold it over by the gear so that it would make contact with the gear. But every so often it will still slip and make that dreaded whirring noise. Please some one help.

Try adjusting your motor height. If that doesn't work, take it to spazz over at command post. He knows his stuff.

I was actually thinking of contacting him. I've met him at fighter town a couple of times and he seems to know a lot about tech. But I did adjust the motor height and it seems to be shooting smoothly now. If I happen to have anymore trouble with my gun I'll make sure to keep him in consideration. Where is command post by the way?

Command Post is on the 19th Ave and Thunderbird in a little plaza right behind CVS on the southeast corner.
