Drone combat
« on: March 07, 2013, 12:21:40 AM »
One of our sponsors has asked to get some opinions. He has developed a drone that you can shoot down with airsoft rifles. He charges $5  per person and you can shoot down your own drone. If enough people arte interested he will bring them out to green leaf.We might even make a little bit of a competition out of this. Like who ever shoots the drone down fastest wins some cash

Sounds like a bad carnival game...
In all reality this seems like too much complication for a result that isn't that cool. But if your connections can get a hold of breaching charges then we'd be talkin'

I would not pay just to go and shoot it down. If it was part of a game where there was a terrorist force and an American force (just an example) in battle and the goal for the terrorist group is to shoot down and retrieve the drone that sounds like it might work. But to just go shoot a drone and go home seems a little cheesy

Would be much more interesting if you could shoot from the drone rather than at the drone.
