I am def. in and have it on my calender.   I love the fact that time has been taken to write a back story that may help some understand the socio-political events that shape conflict and the world we live in.

It is an approach at combining living history with airsoft. By using real world events/ situations, participants can "get into character", so to speak. Also, we are acquiring more period military vehicles for both our WWII events and modern day. Our goal is to get OT-64s, BMPs, T-72s and the appropriate NATO armored counterparts ( which are proving to be very difficult, the U.S. military is being stingy with their Bradley IFVs and Abrams MBTs, I suppose we could convert an OT-64 to a Striker ).

Thats really cool.  I can understand them being stingy though,  they are expensive resources require manpower and open them up tho huge liability.  But it would still be so cool if it comes to fruition.  Thanks for all of the hard work you guys are doing on this.

For the U.S. side what about getting some M113 APCs?

The article shows some modern U.S. troops using an M113 with slat armor.

Sounds cool. Will this be an ammo limited scenario as well (if you've worked that out yet)?

And Mark you best put on some gear! No more of this coordinater stuff, I want a chance to shoot you...

Mark you should tell him about that group of Serbs who tried to stop you at a checkpoint.

Just to clear things up, this is an event hosted by The Museum of Military History and MAC-V.  They may work with people from AA but this is their event to help raise money and support the Museum. One goal was to raise enough money for the transportation of an Mi-24 hind being rebuilt in England.

The event sounds awesome. I'm looking forward to additional details. Balkan Hammer was the most fun I've had in a long time. So far, Combat Challenge has lived up to every expectation. I plan on being there with Team Saguaro.
