Title: OPERATION: SPECTER March 13
Post by: 19dcav on March 01, 2010, 01:42:38 AM
OPERATION: SPECTER
OK,  this is the next game.  WARLORD AIRSOFT is hosting another game:

When:  March 13, 2010

Where: OK Corral

Meeting time: 8:30am

We are going to meet in the Arby's parking lot on the corner of Shea BLVD and the 87 (Beeline) HWY. Here is the address:
17224 East Shea Boulevard
Fountain Hills, AZ 85268-6631
It is very simple to get to and OK Corral is not far from there. If there are any other questions just let me know.

AO:
9:00am

Game Start: +/-9:30am

What:  We will be meeting at the Arbys on Shea at 8:30 and will proceed to the AO, to get there around   9:00.  The game is set to start at around 9:30am.  We will most likely play for a few hours,   ending around 1:30 or 2:00
Game:  Country A has been fighting an insurgency for a number of years.  The last few months have been a time of growing violence and unrest.  The insurgency has grown bolder and has mounted a string of serious and sophisticated operations which have resulted in the capture of valuable documents and weapons.  Country A now is faced with growing resistance and must recover these documents and destroy the weapons in an effort to defeat the insurgent group.  However, these documents are of great interest to Country B.  Therefore, Country B has launched a small group to obtain these documents.  This group was intended to be unnoticed in the chaos, but the insurgency and Country A have discovered their presenceā€¦

Objectives: Country A: Destroy weapons and retrieve documents
Country B: Find documents and rendezvous at extraction point
Insurgency:  Stop Country A and Country B at all costs, retain documents and weapons

We had a great time at your last op so expect us to come out for this one. I'll check with my guys to how many I can bring.

I'll post our numbers and pattern soon.

As far as FPS, keep it under 400.  If you are not able to do that use semi-auto.  Keep those around 475-500fps.  We want to keep it safe.  Bring sniper rifles at your own risk; my experience is that they do not work so well.  Use common sense, if you get the drop on someone give them a chance to surrender.  If it looks like it will hurt it probably will.  Again, use common sense.  :D
There will most likely be two re-spawns and then you are out.  We are still working on some of the intricacies, but we want to make sure that everyone gets to play most of the OP.  It is not very cool to drive out to a game and sit the whole time.  So please CALL your hits, you can come back in.  We may also run a game or two with medics if time permits.  We will continue to update you all on rules.

Thanks all for expressing interest in the game!

I will try to make it to this OP. I am currently requesting the time off work as long as nothing goes wrong I should be able to make it. Trying to buy an airsoft gun as well seeing as how I haven't played the game in quite some time I no longer own one. I can wear any color, I'll bring all three if I make it.

There is no cost to play!  This is a free game.  The drive is easy, just a few minutes down the bee line.  It is a little ways past 4 peaks

I will update the roster ASAP.

See you all on Sat.
