OP: West Wing March 13-14 at MTT UAC
« on: January 16, 2010, 07:45:21 AM »
One of the opening battles of Operation Iraqi Freedom was fought by a sole platoon of US Army Rangers.  The rangers were assigned to destroy a number of SCUD launchers that were positioned near the border of Jordan.  It is believed that Saddam Hussein intended to launch missiles into Israel when the United States invaded Iraq.  The Ranger platoon entered Iraq from a secret base in Jordan called the West Wing and successfully assaulted and destroyed their targets after an intense 4 hour battle.

and my other post reminded me to ask here...if claymores that sling BBs and hand gernades that pop...the ones in your u tube video....are going to be excepted for this operation...i hope so seeing alot of small time milsims are now not letting them be used...due to

"too much confusion..." or "it landed on my head"  :-({|=

i mean if a gernade goes off next to you your dead...in real life and in airsoft...  [smilie=armata_pdt_02.gif]

let me know cuz i would like to bring out my claymores and grenades to this event...but dont want to if there not going to be allowed....i havent had any trouble with the claymores but for some reasone ppl try to make excuses why the gernades either dont count or arent excepted at all....and i think all thats doing is taking a little bit of the already small game away...

and 1 more thing...what about cold burning smoke gernades??? ok or not...

thanks

Here are some answers to some questions about OP: West Wing.

Q: How many people are registered for the game?
A: There are currently about 20 players who have signed up for the game (12 Rangers, 8 Fedayeen).  We expect about 40 - 50 players for the actually operation and about 20 players for the day 1 games, training, and night missions.

Q: Are smoke grenades allowed?
A: Players are allowed to deploy smoke grenades with the approval of staff on the day of the event.  The smoke grenades must be commericially made (no improvised grenades) and must be used near built up areas (no deploying grenades in the brush).

Q: Are players allowed to use claymores, bb grenades, rubber grenades, etc?
A: As with smoke grenades, staff will approve the use of most grenades as long as they are commercially made.  Again these need to be used in built up areas.

Q: What does the patch look like?
A:

Q: Are RV's or Trailers allowed at the Urban Assault Course?
A: These types of vehicles are allowed at the property.  However, it may be difficult for some types of vehicles to access the property due to the condition of the road.  MTT has recently invested into some equipment to repair and clear damaged parts of the road to our property.  More info about road conditions will be made public as the repairs are completed.
