IMO some of the fun is the travel with regard to Lion Claws. Some of my best memories are actually from the drive out to the field.

Here's a useful question, do you use hicaps? Do you practice fire control (3 round bursts) or do you rock and roll?

If you're the type who's being sensible about how they fire it won't be a problem. Hell my Star M14 SOPMOD has a PLASTIC gearbox and I haven't had a problem with the Lipo I use because I'm  not a trigger whore.

In a word, no.

Just a tip, spraypaint for that radio would help.

Higher altitude in my mind seems like more fun. More physical and requires more of you.

Just to echo what was just said, FPS is a tool. Not the ultimate solution.

My darling Prime LR 300 from years back is a perfect example. I paid 1,000 cash and drove to LA to pick it up. Afterwards I put a Systema complete gearbox in it rated for 400 FPS. It wasn't until months later I found out it was shooting 350. Guess what? It is still the best airsoft gun I've ever owned not because I paid too much for it or it's pretty, but because it fits my playstyle very well and my body type.

Ask anybody who knows how I enjoy airsoft. More than anything else my feet are my biggest tool!
