local team listing
« on: September 14, 2011, 11:12:43 PM »
im thinking a spot where you can list your team and its members.
not a discussion thread but just a spot where your team and thier arms can be listed.
teams would have to edit thier own posting, edit your stuff instead of just makeing it run on to keep it short. we have quite a few good teams on here, but besides the lil tags in our signatures we have no way to rep our team.

Every time I see a post about a "Team", it's always done by Minors. It always ends in a fight and flame war, and promoted a lot of backyard airsoft.

I personally disagree with this suggestion.

last update that was actualy done for that thread was in 08.
and i wasnt thinking of just a thread, i was thinking of a section where the teams could have thier own thread. that way it wouldnt be just a list of how many people but who was actualy on the team.
and to prevent every tom dick and harry or just some lil kid from posting up a team that never plays real games. they would have to be teams that actualy go to the big games, teams that every one knows and that are well established in the az airsoft comunity. that way someone new or looking for a team could look at who is on a team if that team does the kind of play that they are interested in. what area they play in. and if that team is active or not.

and the flameing, more than not, ends up going both ways. some kid posts up something stupid then somebody else gets offended because of the (to them) blatent ignorance and post something that is offencive to the other person. then both are mad and usualy other people jump in to help thier friend and it gets retarded all the way around and no one wants to back down or be the bigger person (because they think they allready are, and they think they are right in what they have done). granted there are some people that deserve what they get but for the most part what is the point of jumping all over some kids shit because he posted something stupid. and from some of the stuff ive seen there is mutiple people that will jump on one person for the same thing. one stupid comment and everyone has something to say about it. not that im trying to defend the stupid people, but if someone else has allready said it what is the point of you saying it to.

opps got a lil off topic there sorry.
