perhaps a lost & found forum would be more fitting

Perhaps the way we've been doing it for years works just fine.

You're new here, and I applaud your initiative, but this particular idea just isn't necessary.   :)

I still have someones watch from LC4      Dont know who it is, or how I ended up with it.  But no one has responed yet.

It seems easy enough to state in the AAR (After Action Report) if you have any unclaimed items.  Most people who were there will read it and see your post. Or they will ask for a lost item. This works well for 99% of the time. But Im in a loop, who ever lost this must not realize it or doesnt really need it back.  Too bad its not a Rolex  8)

For me, after losing a few things, I'm always checking that I still have everything. I haven't lost anything since I developed the paranoid habit of checking your pockets, having this pain in your stomach that you’re missing something and then remembering you didn't bring anything with you in the first place. Even if something were to fall out I always notice I'm missing it not too long after I dropped it and I can go back and find it pretty easy. The only thing I can't keep but losing (including my dad and his bother and his dad) is my sunglasses. They are there one minute 8) , and the next they are gone!

I want to ressurect this idea.

After Daggerfall we had lost/found the following:

Found:

1 aluminum flashlight (Really nice looking too)

Lost:

1 AK Mag
1 Pair binoculars
1 pistol clip (I forget what kind)
and a few other things i'm sure.

And that's just from one op.

It would be nice to have a central place to post what gets turned up or goes missing.

Its best if its posted in the original game topic of the game attended and by the person who lost whatever.

Ok, and what happens then when say an AK mag is found at that AO by one of us 6 months later?

*shrug*

Post it in the game discussion area of the game you attended when you found it.  Later, if no one claims it you can post about it in the general game discussion area.

On the subject of lost mags, if anyone happens to find a TM Sig 552 mag out near Florence... That'd be mine. ;)
