Sling recommendation
« on: January 25, 2010, 12:47:07 AM »
I am looking for a sling that is designed for a heavy rifle(18lbs), preferably with padding..I Plan on either using snap hooks or mash hooks, so if it came with either, great... Suggestions would be awesome. Thanks.

Some I have already ruled out:

URS Gunslinger(no padding)
Butler Creek Comfort (Piece of crap)
Anything less than 1.5in in width

You could always make your own out of a luggage strap of backpack strap. :D

Thanks Vince. Exactly what I was just looking at on MM. Know of a reputable dealer that stocks them?

Indeed. I spoke to Edwin this morning and he was quick to get me a dealer app and some samples out to me, I look forward to doing more business with them in the future. Even the girl who answered the phone at first was very knowledgeable and helpful.
