I just got one of those Guarder SOG Tactical Vest, it a replica of SOEs CQB Vest.  This vest is really awesome.  The fit and finish is really on par with that of Blackhawk gear.
Pros
-comes with lots of pouches
-lots of velco, good for attaching all kinds of gear
-compatible with ALICE and BTS attachments.
-each panel is also a pouch too
-good quality from Guarder
Cons
-lots of velcro, can also be noisy.

One thing to note is the plastic sliders on the shoulder straps.  I have had these break before on one of those cheap $30 imported black LBE vest.  But that was after about a year of weekend use.  On that vest I replaced the shoulder straps with the Spec Ops type from Blackhawk.  That is the only real weakness I see with this vest.  If I start to see these go out I will do the same.  The load

Initial impression is very good.  Very well constructed.  You definetly get your moneys worth and then some!  

Because this vest has more room to carry mags, I'll be needing more of them now!
