L96/ASR question
« on: July 23, 2010, 07:20:00 PM »
does the Laylax Perfect Sniping System PSSL96 High Pressure Piston for for the TM L96 Airsoft Sniper Rifle fit into  the cylinder of my E1 ASR/Well mb06? Here is a link to the product:  http://www.airsoftpost.com/product_info ... s_id=33026 , or do I have to use this one which is an aps2 syle: http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... ts_id=6660. If I have to use the aps2 style one, can I use my factory piston head rubber or do I need to find the laylax one?

I did a few more days of research, and decided to go with the First Factory 3 element piston and the FF piston head, as I am not satisfied with the piston that came in my E1 ASR upgrade kit. Anyone have experience with First Factory/ Laylax parts?

My l96 has every laylax part you can buy and I would totally recommend their products!

Thanks for a reply! I also got a PDI hop up chamber from Hong Kong. When the piston comes, I will order the matching cylinder head. Does the Laylax cylinder head quiet the gun? It has that pad on the inside, so I thought it might.

it does do some quieting but if you put stronger spring in it wont matter cause the piston will be flying inside the cylinder very fast and will be louder

A dynomat and foam filled silencer did the trick. The ASR takes a l96 adapter and not an APS2 adapter. It is basically a mix of both the maruzen APS2 and L96.
