I've noticed that most shots I take at close range are centered around my facial area. Fortunately, that area is also where I wear the most protection. I've been shot as close as 8 feet or so in the face and haven't had so much as a bruise. I did get shot in the pinky from about 4 feet at the last game at the ranch. That hurt (a lot), but no blood. Although I have seen people get shot from over 40 feet and get welts. I guess it depends on how tough your skin is or something of that nature.

I can safely say that I've been hit it just about every extremity but one, "You came close mark!". I have suffered everything from welts, to bruises, busted open lip, to my arms looking like I had a dozen flee bites that I kept scratching. None of it was any fun by any means. Not to mention that I work in an office environment and it doesn't look all that grand to my co-workers. Unless you wrap yourself in an armor suite you're bound to get some type of battle scar. The point is to try to eliminate the severity of such things by keeping a safe distance from each other while shooting.

Actually, Harley, I think the TRUE point is not to get hit. But that's pretty much unavoidable if you're playing the game in a fashion that would allow the most fun.

How very true that is Basher. I guess I'm having a bunch of fun out there, cause I seem to get hit every game.

I got some blood blisters today :)
Kamakazi tried to flank us from behind (at this point he is like 10 feet behind us), jack turns around and opens fire, i drop to the dirt and grab for my pistol, raise my hand in the air, open fire blindly at nick and get stitched across my hand with his rifle. Didnt feel too dandy, but it left some nice battle wounds.

I was woundering who had gotten shot by an airsoft gun at close range, BUT, it never broke the skin and it's bleeding?

Me, Being the stupid person here, Shot myself in the ankle and it's a big old blood bubble.
