Help on first gas item
« on: March 15, 2011, 09:47:45 AM »
Hey, I am buying three gas grenade launcher shells today and have no idea about the gas. I know how to fill them up but what kind of gas do you use? I am on a budget so what is the cheapest option? And is it possible to get it at like home depot?
Thanks

propane, like the kind you use for camping stoves. cheaper at walmart. BUT, you have to buy a propane adapter too... so short term it's cheaper to buy a can of green-gas at gearbox... but VERY quickly becomes cheaper to use propane and a propane adapter.

In the long run propane is cheaper and you have to by an adapter piece. But In propane there is no silicone added so u have to manually lube the grenades. Also with propane you get a bit more velocity.
