GBBR MAG TO HPA

(1/3) > >>

Indigo:
Good day all!

I have been doing plenty research of how to tap the Mag, and the overall process, so I can convert my WE M4 mag from Propane to HPA. Any insight is always welcome!

the part im having difficulty narrowing down is: Which connectors/fitting should I use? And what locations would most likely have what I need?

And if any of you have input on what air rig would work well/best -- I'm all ears. Line, tank, regulator, etc. I don't mind having to place the items together.

Anything that will help me see my project come true. Thank for the help!

I found this website: http://www.mcmaster.com/#

It has plenty of tubing and connectors/fittings buuuuuuuuuuttttt -- Which kind should I use?

Check out Palmers’ Pursuit Shop in Sacramento, CA, he is into HPA stuff, good products and advice...

Good luck on your quest:)

nukeduster:
Except, don't use a palmers reg, they are not very good by airsoft standards and don't regulate low psi builds which airsoft necessitates as well as other options out there.

Ivan:
There were some sniper / gbb guys out in Escondido CA I played with on occasion and they did what you want to do. They ran this rig because it was cheap and worked well. They had plumbed and threaded each mag with a qd male.

You can't use standard CO2 or HPA tanks with those ARX20 regs, you have to use SLP only, which are more nichey than normal tanks and limited to Ninja and a few others and are usually $30+ more per tank than normal tanks.

That said, its a fine reg otherwise, though I usually run it as a secondary reg to a larger higher flowing reg to fine tune FPS.

Not worth what they are asking for it though, I could build you the same exact reg for at least $10 less and you could choose what length and color of hose to use.
