Early this morning, AAer 'azsarge' passed away.
The only thing known absolutely for sure is that Airsoft Arizona has lost one of it's greatest contributors, members and friends.
CT will never be the same again.
-
RIP.
-
Our hearts go out to you, fellow AAer.
-
I never met him but he sounded like a cool guy. Can't believe it. Rest in piece.
-
I don't think that I got a chance to meet him in person, but my prayers are with his family and friends.
-
Rest in Peace Christian, It was an honor to fight along side you
-
Wow, I can't believe he's gone... The forum will not be the same without him. I think we should all hold something in his honor. Game, get together, or whatever. Wish I could have met him too. He seemed awesome, and helped me out here in the forum quite a bit.
R.I.P. azsarge. We will miss you dearly [smilie=armata_pdt_40.gif]

I never met him but as a member of the AA community He will be missed dearly.
High Flight
Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of earth
And danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
Sunward I've climbed, and joined the tumbling mirth
Of sun-split clouds - and done a hundred things
You have not dreamed of - wheeled and soared and swung
High in the sunlit silence. Hov'ring there
I've chased the shouting wind along, and flung
My eager craft through footless halls of air.
Up, up the long delirious, burning blue,
I've topped the windswept heights with easy grace
Where never lark, or even eagle flew -
And, while with silent lifting mind I've trod
The high untresspassed sanctity of space,
Put out my hand and touched the face of God.
-
RIP Christian.
-
R.I.P christian, my prayers go out to you and your family.
-
Bravo Pick. Quite well written. Whether an original or quote, I think azsarge is content, glad we all are celebrating his moving to a better place.

Whether an original or quote
It is an excellent choice. "High Flight" by John Gillespie McGee, Jr.

Only met him at one game, but he seemed like a nice guy. RIP
-
Only met him once but he was a good guy. R.I.P
-
From myself, my family, and all of Steelworks, RIP.
Respectfully,
-
I knew him well, yet not well enough. I haven't played in quite a while and the thing I miss the most is the friendships that I made around here. I deeply regret not have the chance to see him again and alas never will in this world, hopefully in the next. RIP C-dog you will be missed my brother!!
-
RIP Christian, you will be missed by all.
-
RIP
Never actually got a chance to meet him
-
Rest in Peace good buddy. He helped me out with quite a bit. I hadn't seen him in years and was thankful to have seen the UFC fight with him last Saturday. I really wish I had gone out with all the guys, it makes you really appreciate the friendships formed.
Thoughts and prayers to his family, and his extended family here on AA.
-
I remember you Brother.
We are all diminished by his loss.
-
We are all diminished.
He was a great friend.
-
The loss is great. A good man and a good friend is gone. We miss you bro.
-
I never had the oppurtunity to meet him in person, but he must have been a great man. Rest in Peace, my condolences for his family.
-
I was in complete shock when I got the call this afternoon. Christian, I will miss you and will cherish the times we had with CT, great memories that will last forever. To my other CT brothers, take care of yourselves and see you soon.

Rip man. my condolences to those close to him
-
I was great to know you bro... You will definitely be missed.
We lost a big part of our community today, I still cant believe that this happened to such a great guy.. Still feels very surreal. My thoughts and prayers go out to all his friends and family, and every life Christian has touched with his sense of humor, advice, and knowledge. One of a kind guy, one who alot of people here looked up to, me included.. I'll miss shooting with you bro.
-
Christian has left here
and the world is poorer for it.
God is taking care of him now.
-
This is something Ryan put together months ago, it's still surreal that he's gone. Rest in peace bro..we'll miss you.

I don't think I could have been more shocked than to hear this news. He was a good friend and a good soldier. I will miss him.
-
RIP azsarge. Thanks for everything!
-
We miss our friend, he was definitely one of a kind. I’ll miss his genuine candor, company and friendship. Let's remember the good times my brothers, as they were many.
May peace be with you C.
Here is Christian making this thing called "airsoft" look good.

-
From Phoenix Shadow Company. RIP bro we'll see you on the other side.
-
Even though I never played along side him or meet him in person, my thoughts and prayers go out to his family. Rest In Peace.
-
I'm still in shock to know that I will never see my freind or run a long side with him. I may have not gotten as close to Christian as most of my fellow teammates. But the times I did spend with him, I always enjoyed every moment. His sarcastic and witty humor always made a dull moment brighter. I now have a void amonst my friends that will be hard to close for while. I will miss him deeply.
Rest in peace Christian
Some pictures that I took of Christian to remember him from back in the day.

R.I.P
give my condolences to his family and let them know he will not be forgotten
-
RIP
Never got a chance to meet him.
-
Fortunately I did know Christian, and I am the richer man because of it. I found out about this yesterday from Ron Bilodeau. I am truly shocked. I've known Christian from the early days of Airsoft Arizona (Mikey knows what I'm talking about) and I can say truthfully that there were few better. My heart goes out to his father and family. A father should never have to bury his son. It is not the natural order of things. So for Christian I offer this simple prayer...
May the Lord look upon you in delight, may He lift up his countenance on you and make His face shine down upon you and give you peace. Amen.
God Bless you Christian, you will be missed.

It is still not real to me that Cbone is gone, I think it is going to take a while for it to really set in, I am still in disbelief. I regret not being closer these last couple years.
I was fortunate enough to hang with him last weekend for a few hours. I can't believe that is the last time I will see him.
I don't post on here much anymore, or play airball like I used to, but everyone from CT are still my closest friends. To lose such a great FRIEND and teammate is really fucking rough.
Rest easy man.
-
I played along side of Christian at one of the National Ops as well as a few local games.
However I knew him best here on the AA boards.
His contributions, camaraderie and friendship will be missed by all but more so by
the people that were lucky enough to truely know him.
R.I.P Comrade.
-
Damn. Too young.
My condolences to his family.
Bye,Christian.

RIP. So sorry to hear this. :(

Rest In Peace Christian and Like Vince Asked, "Save Me A Seat In Heaven" Little Brother,,,
,

This was on the memorial cards handed out at Christian's funeral today.
I'm Free
Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free,
I’m following the path God laid for me.
I took His hand when I heard him call,
I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day,
to laugh, to love, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way.
I found that peace at the close of day.
If my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,
Ah yes, these things too I will miss.
Be not burdened with times of sorrow,
I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life’s been full, I’ve savored much.
Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,
Don’t lengthen it now with undue grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me,
I’m with God now, He set me free.

RIP Christian
I always thought of him as a big piece of the foundation for this board, he wasn't just a mod, he was a fellow player, always willing to help and he was passionate for this hobby. I remember reading through the very first posts of this board and he was there, I was able to read through the years as he grew. For me at least it will take a while before it sinks in that he's no longer with us, because in my mind Christian and Airsoft Arizona are inseparable.
-
Well said, DeathByDanish!!! Any more information on what happened?
-
Prayers go out to his family...
Never met him but death is such
a tragedy, having experienced
it with family and friends.
-
OMG, I feel sick now. . .
I havent checked the boards much lately, and to see this hurts bad. Christian was one of the coolest airsofters I ever knew. Way back when we first started airsoft, we used play every weekend at Sunflower. I could always count on him to show up and it made every weekend worth getting out to light each other up.
Very very sad day. . .
-
I could always count on him to show up....
It was a safe bet that he would be late  But yeah, you could always count on him being there. Those were some of my best times airsofting. Airsoft will definately never be the same and yeah Frank, it still hurts.
-
I never met the man, but I know what it is like to lose a friend. -RIP-
-
I am crushed, I was just thinking about him the other day because I have not seen him or anyone eles in awhile. Last time I saw him we were shooting Cactus match at Avery. I cant say him, and I were close. As we bolt did things differently, and later came to respect one another for it. We did however agree that the ED Brown 1911 is one sweet gun. RIP buddy I am going to miss you.
-
R.I.P. our friend. Our prayers are with you and your family.
-
im sure ull all understand this bump but i wanted to say that u arn't forgotten and will never be forgotten.... this bumps for u azsarge
-
The world is a darker place without him. Even though I didn't know him personally, tears are massing in my eyes. I can't even begin to understand how those closest to him feel.
Fallen, but never forgotten.
-
Happy birthday, azsarge. Fallen, but never forgotten, I hope you have found peace.
-
Better late then never Christian... Shame I didnt make it down to shoot with you and your buddy Vince before I flew out. When I think about us and our friendship haha I think about the hours we spent trying to mod things in my apartment, pissing off malia...harley had to fix so many problems we created from the crazy ideas we had lol Chris Acree almost driving into the wash on the reservation. Alwasy stoping at the wendys, I hated how anthony would wear skater tennis shoes with his BDUs. We would look out the window at that ATV shop, talk about how cool it would be if we could make a mini Chenowth dpv... Lots of memories. When I get back Im going to grab Dobson, Chris and your friend Vince that you wanted me to meet. Drive out to BT and laugh about the time we took off our shirt, posed as Iraqi prisoners with black bags on our head...which set off a fire storm on the forums lol. God so much stuff is coming back now, you kicking athony out of the back of gregs suv lmao... I miss ya and see ya, but not yet. I have some more notches to put in my belt and more wannabe to shoot in the face.
Your friend
Matt P

Very sad.

Today I wanted to take the time to remember a friend and fellow member of this board. Christian was a great contributor to this forum and provided guidance to many. Christian will be greatly missed but never ever forgotten.
