Title: P* Air Rig Suggestions
Post by: Rd maul on December 26, 2012, 11:24:19 AM
Hey guys I just got my new P* M4 for xmas and now I need a Air Tank and Air Rig but I am unsure what to get to run the gun optimally and efficiently. I have been back and forth between a SLP rig and a Normal rig? I know there ar some P* gurus on here and would like some pros and cons and just plain reviews! Here are a few of the options I have been looking into for my gun.

SLP Rig:

SLP Tank:
http://www.ampedairsoft.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=NINJAPROGR90SLP&CartID=1 (http://www.ampedairsoft.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=NINJAPROGR90SLP&CartID=1)

Normal Rig:

Tank:
I would get the same tank as above for this rig

ninja makes very good tanks. Dye tanks are also very very good! Dye Throttle tanks are really good. Empire, gorilla, ninja, and NXE (these guys are from arizona) all make good tanks. Make sure its carbon ortherwise it will be heavy as hell.

Get Redline's Firebase rig.  Better air conservation at lower PSI settings and built-in tournament lock.  Not to mention it's an airsoft-designed regulator, not a paintball regulator placed on an HPA rig for airsoft.

+1 On the Firebase Reg.
Get it from Redline like Rd Maul linked. They designed the rig, they should get the credit for doing such a good job. Plus they use a better hose.

You can also get it from AmpedAirsoft.com, and Evike.com is going to sell them soon.  But just get it from Redline...

Yeah the more I read I think this is the route I am going to go, it seems to be the best option

Yeah it's pretty expensive.

Its the initial cost that gets people, then its smooth sailing from there....thats why I went this route to be honest

Just my .02 cents but they have the whole kit for like 725.00 and all you do is drop it in and play. I got the devgru one that keeps the pressure the same as the tank gets lower and lower.

Well I have $0.00 into my P* right now as I got it for a Xmas gift, so if I spend $330 on Air rig and Tank I think its a decent

I know this might be pretty late, but I'm just bored and decided to just poke around the forums.

I have the Redline Firebase air rig with a Guerilla 3000 PSI HPA tank. They both work great, and the Guerilla tank would be great if you're on a budget. They go for around $55 on Evike.

for tanks get a ninja 90/4500. ninja has a lifetime warranty on their bottles and "reliability" for a tank to is a user error. the only time ive seen tanks fail is when people drop them or slam them against their tailgate
