General Airsoft Game Discussion / BAS Op: Eagle's Nest
« on: June 29, 2008, 06:43:27 PM »
BAS OP: Eagles Nest AAR:

First Scenario:
The Cavalry Squad One and Two were instructed to secure the Western and Eastern Border Points. Special Forces were assigned to the hunt and kill the Defector.

OPFOR formed a defense of the captured border points. The Cavalry conducted their assault on the points eventually pushing OPFOR elements off. Once Special Forces were spotted the Defector and his security force fled the Border Point to the extraction point to the West. Elements of OPFOR built a defense around the Defector as he waited for chopper extraction. Intel at the Western Border Point was secured by The Colonies.

It was found that the Command Staff of the Border Guard defected and were able to escape with nuclear material.

Second Scenario:
The Cavalry received orders to assault the OPFOR Outpost that launched the attacks on the border and plant explosives for its destruction. Special Forces targeted the Outpost Commander for capture.

OPFOR built a strong defense around the Outpost providing security for the Commander. When Cavalry and Special Forces surrounded the Outpost and started pressuring the Commander and security forces, the Commander abandoned the Outpost retreating to a western extraction point. The Outpost Commander was able to escape the field. The explosives was able to get to the perimeter of the Outpost, but the outpost remained safe due to the lack of proper intel of its whereabouts.

Third Scenario:
Unknown.

Game play went to about 230, I was impressed how long we stayed out. Over all think the game went well and I hope you guys had some fun out there.

Thats right, it is so official!

Prescott AO (primary site) Strawberry (secondary site)
AA Rules apply - 18+

Meet at Anthem Chevron (Anthem Way and I-17) at 0700, leave at 0730 sharp. If you are not going to the meeting spot then be at the AO by 0900. I need someone to lead the convoy out at 0730, the guys and I are going try to get out earlier to get the field set up.

Directions:

North on the I-17
Exit AZ-69 N to Prescott Valley
Watch for the signs for Gurley St and take that exit
Head down past the courthouse and take a left on Whiskey Row (Google labels it Montezuma)
Take a right on Copper basin (there is a gas station on the corner there, just a small name if I remember correctly)
Copper Basin eventually turns into a dirt road, look for us on the left.

Looks like you will travel on Copper Road from Whiskey Row for 5.5 miles.

34 29'54.67"N 112 32'28.31"W, think that is in the area.

Notes:
-Game will be continues, carry any gear you need for the operation with you.
-Hydrate! Its still hot up north. Make sure you have plenty of water, if you run out in the game feel free to take yourself out and return to camp to refill.

Please identify if you have a GPS. Points may be supplied to find objectives, will be giving up to 2 points per mission, most likely 6 total, so do not have to worry about programing a high amount of points. GPS will be helpful to direct movement.

Post what pattern you are supporting!

ACU and Multi may be reassigned depending on numbers.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Official Big America Style OP

AAR:
For what I know, the game started out pretty smooth I thought. The game was designed to have one side invading the other side. The Nations of Tan controlled the east side of the wash and invaded west into The Nation of Green’s territory. Tan was quick to secure control point Charlie and then moved north to control point Bravo. Alpha was secured by Green, for how long is unknown at this time. Tan, controlling the border control points moved to destroy Green respawn Delta. The mission was cut aborted early when unknown forces attacked Tan’s territory, a lot of ATV traffic today. Tan regrouped attacking out of control point Charlie and Green regrouped at their forward base. The two nations then began battling over the border again. Tan was giving the assignment to extract some confused combat photographer who was trapped behind enemy lines. At the same point both nations battled over control point Delta for its destruction. Green was able to destroy Delta. After becoming confused which VIP to protect, Tan was able to extract the photographer, sorry about the confusion Drew. Once the VIP was escorted safely back to Green territory Tan began its raid on Green’s forward base. Green was successful in holding off Tan’s forces in the first strike. Tan was able to gather photo reconnaissance of Green forward base:

Tan then continued launching a second assault, this time able to recover intelligence from the base and killed the forward base’s VIP who was in hiding… Photographic evidence was taken of the VIP death to return to the Czar of the Nation of Tan:

Tan soldiers then had to escape back into friendly territory escaping Green’s forces.

All on all both sides fought very hard. Some objectives Tan was able to advance on and other objectives Green held. Was a lot of fun watching the two forces collide. Thank you for coming out to our game!

Feel free to PM your thoughts and any criticism that can help improve next game.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / 4 Peaks
« on: March 30, 2008, 05:21:11 PM »
The guys and I went down to 4 Peaks today to plan for the upcoming game. Looks like they tore down the building, well what was left of that building, down. Some sheriffs were down there responding to some guy who fell of his bike and broke his collar bone and said they tore it down because the kids kept using it as a rave site.

The Nation of Green and Nation of Tan's border of Four Peaks has fallen into conflict again.

Here is the few I took.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) Glenn Beck has a special going on showing what the leaders of the Middle East like Iran are saying. I highly recommend you watching this special and see for yourself what is going on there. Our media does not cover this at all and it is all very shocking. Now Glenn Beck is a pretty conservative guy to say the least, but I think he tries to stick to common sense and attempts to keep the politics o of it. Watch it and get some exposure to use. Use some critical thinking skills and make your own decision at the end, but at least check it out so you can make an educated decision.

The Glenn Beck show is on CNN’s Headline News at 5 then again at 7 and 10
