General Airsoft Discussion / Re: Reloading
« on: January 18, 2011, 03:49:11 PM »
Are we really having a discussion about reloading airsoft magazines?

If you want a dump pouch, Raith has one for sale in his thread for $25..it's nice and big and has a drawstring closure at the top..just close it enough to where you can still slip a mag in..

I'm interested in the chrono if its still for sale. Call or text me at 602 410 4895 any time.

Replied to your pm, sorry it was already sold!

The ACOG is still for sale.. a few people PM'd me and never replied to my replies so if you want it, let me know!

Raith is going to list a bunch of gear I have for sale in the next few days so look out for that.

Doc Hollywood needs to log in for this.

Someday it will click and you guys will get it, until then, don't wear something you didn't earn. Even during LC type games when they are mocking specific units, people have the courtesy and respect to keep patches and insignia/tabs etc off their uniforms they didn't earn.

I have a few unit patches and flags and such that saw combat overseas from good friends..but would I ever wear them? No, because I know what they did to earn that and the sacrifices they made.

Other items for sale... / Whole bunch of randoms...

Either way, if it's shooting 150-200ft decently accurate out of the box that should compete with the AEG's out there. I'm not looking to get a ridiculously far snipe, I just want something that will be reliable and has just a bit more range than an AEG.

Then why bother with a gas bolt action? Buy my KJW, In its current form(a few bucks in upgrades) I can hit torso's are 225ft all day long(measured, verified by people who had welts)

oooh ok that makes sense. So how far are your tanakas currently shooting accurately?

The stock one?  Probably 250ft, maybe a bit further.  The upgraded one?  At it's prime, I'd say about 330ft, maybe 350ft.  Needs a new bucking right now though.  I'm working on a review of the Bell M700 (Tanaka clone) that you might want to check out as it has some interesting discoveries about the Bell.  It's got a lot of the typical Chinese poor QC in it, but they also did a few things right.  As in better than the post ban Tanaka's.

Sorry, I think you have a pretty bad sense of distance. 250ft? No... Not with the hopup design that comes with the Tanaka. But if you can show me in person or in a video where they are 250ft man accurate, please do...

Just out of curiosity, how far do you think your magical KJW will hit someone at?

Edit:  I can't access YouTube at work, so I'll look some more when I get home but most of the reviews I see for Tanaka M700's also state they were able to hit a man sized target in stock form at 225-250ft.

In its current form in a pile of crap? Well it won't..

Airsofter reviews are crap, because most airsofters a bunch of idiots with little sense of distance and generally full of crap. 300-350ft shots are obtainable, but just not something you can do with money and a little time. You really need to invest some serious cash..and even then, you are lobbing a tiny little bb and if you even hit someone at that range they are probably not going to feel it or call it.

My rule of thumb is that range is limited to the flat trajectory the hop up produces, so if you can "hit" something at 300ft but 50ft of that is hop up lobbing up then down, that really isn't real range.

I've seen 99/100 videos on youtube of people shooting the Tanaka's and other guns, trust me, none of those guys were hitting 225-250 accurately out of the box. It just doesn't happen with that gun.

Propper International™ Introduces A-TACS® ACUs for Spring 2011

Propper International™ and Digital Concealment Systems are proud to announce the Spring 2011 launch of the new A-TACS® ACU.

A-TACS represents a radical step forward in the science of concealment technology. The patented A-TACS process replaces digital square pixels with small organically shaped pixels, removing all 90-degree angles to create a more natural appearance. Additionally, the organic pixels are segmented into larger groupings organized within the pattern, creating a unique "pattern within a pattern" concept that enables A-TACS to conceal the operator more effectively at greater distances than previously possible. The pattern also features a greater range of inter-mingled natural colors for enhanced concealment. The base color is a neutral tan, designed to blend effortlessly in open, rocky or arid environments.

"Propper is honored to be a part of such a groundbreaking development in military and law enforcement concealment," said John Asaro, VP Marketing for Propper International. "We are dedicated to providing the best possible apparel to the soldiers and officers who serve our country, and our partnership with A-TACS solidifies that effort."

The Propper A-TACS ACU are sewn to military specifications and made from 65/35 poly/cotton ripstop fabric for maximum durability.

The A-TACS ACU is among the most anticipated A-TACS products launching worldwide and will serve as the core component of the product line, which includes boots from DannerÒ, packs and nylon kit from Tactical Assault Gear™, single or dual point gun slings from Blue Force Gear™, and weapons and optics systems from RemingtonÒ, BushmasterÒ and BushnellÒ. This broad collection of introductory products represents the first full head-to-toe concealment system offering to tactical professionals in the U.S.

Propper will advance the A-TACS product line with boonie hats and combat shirts. These items will be available for purchase from Propper authorized dealers.

For more information on Propper A-TACS ACUs, contact info@a-tacs.com

Wow..This is a big suprise... Considering someone else already has the exclusive 2011 rights to A-TACS Clothing....

By the way, here is a big piece of swatch I cut off a roll before sending it out for manufacturing. I have left a 12x12 swatch with Ron @ Gearbox for anyone who wants to
see the pattern in person. The Swatch is 330d Printed Cordura.

Figured I would post up.
In short, these past two years we have watched WE tech climb from a subpar gas pistol company to a subpar GBBR producer.

Fixed that for you.
Notice, I said headlining :) Not great :)
There making the papers, but........
They do have potential. Especially with RA Tech Parts.

Potential and RA-Tech don't even do in the same sentence. This leads me to believe you own nothing RA-Tech. Their shit is just that, a hump of crap normally good for a paperweight. I would rather crap down my barrel than put something RA Tech in my gun.

No, I don't think so. I had Ron order me one, but condor is way backlogged on orders.
