Firepower SRT SD3 Electric Airsoft
« on: June 11, 2007, 12:23:09 PM »
Its is a very loud gun every thing works great but only goes 285 fps.It is reliable  and cheap, but use .12 gram bbs .Its more for or some one just starting airsofting. You can get it online or at Cabelas or even Sports Authority. The battery is ok because its only 7.2 which gave me about 1000 bbs which isnt alot depending on how long your playing and how many bbs you spray down the feild  .It looks cool. For fear factor its scary because its loud and thats about it .Even thought the fps is low its very accuarate from 25 feet away it can hit a penny with one shot so its moderatly accurate.Dont buy the gun save your money .

285 with .12's.  In otherwords, with .20's (as in the BB's real airsoft guns use) it's shooting slow enough to catch them with your hands.

Well to be honest your review was about as thorough as the sales snipets you find under these cheap guns at retail webistes.  If your going to review something try giving out some real info.  How did it shoot, how does it look, is the battery hard to install, what does it come with?

I took apart the spring version of the SRT SD3, and it was a piece of cake to put back together, well considering I was missing parts. But anyways basic reveiw:
Pros:
-Cheap(my first airsoft rifle)
-More accurate than most airsoft spring pistols
-Very easy to take apart and put together
-Good in small airsoft wars in backyards

Cons:
-With .12 bbs they just go everywhere. I can't tell you how many times the bbs flew over my fence when I was aiming at a target on a lawn chair.
-C02s would beat anyone who owned this
-Hard to pull back spring(cant look down sights and fire)
-Terribly hard to reload the mid-cap magazine
