General Airsoft Discussion / Re: polished vs. un-polished BBs

its also a good idea to use a swab that's dampened with rubbing alcohol in your barrel and hop up. like i said the polish can build up and form a polished bucking. rubbing alcohol takes care of that pretty easy, just don't pour the shit down your barrel

Thank you Slinkey, for not being a total asshat.

lmfao i tried hahaha

Polished bb's leave a Polish streak down your barrel. go shoot about 5 thousand of them and look down your barrel.
Noobs, will be noobs and say unpolished bb's will cause more jam's because Of course they know everything.

But if you use your noggin and think with some common sense, Being polish-less would make your bb's have more hop. Because there not as Slick, and the matt surface on them after removal of said Polish, causes them to grab your bucking better. Thus Making better hop. :D

Now who ever said go try some unpolished bb's I suggest you do the same :D

I clean all my sniper weights with goo gone, to get the manufacturing crap off them. Then Hey i can set my hopup and over hop a .43 O.O whoa!

Figured id give them some smart-assery Back.

cuz you know everyone knows everything without that crucial experience it takes, To actually know what the FUuuuG there talking about

unpolished and garbage bb's are two different things tho.

AEG's / Re: G and G motor issue

the KWA motor might work fine because every motor is made different in the sense that the bevel-pinion contact differs. its just the way they are made. that is why you need to reshim to the bevel each time you put in a new motor

about time i'v heard that on this forum hahah

it could be you wiring harness also, iv seen them have such horrible resistance that they cause major issues.
shimming sounds right on to me though.

the take down doesnt leak like you would think, Its actually easier to work on.
the problem lies where the two parts join together, over time it will wobble.

lmfao thats g&g for you. Kjw doesnt make a mag jsut just make the 11 rounders.

I highly reccomend you get the KJW police. dont waiste you time with the take down.

to be honest i replaced the barrel on my old one i traded for my new one. the stock barrel will perform just as good, If not better than a tight bore.

its a 6.10 that is in the kjw's and honestly with the r-hop it was just as accurate, and had more range than the 6.01 DBC i had in my old one.
so really id just recommend testing a few types of buckings with the stock barrel. and if all el's fails Get a Madbull psg1 barrel if you cant get that setup properly.

spazz can do a r-hop mod similar to an r-hop so see if he can hook you up with that. He should be able to get it. But if he cant let me know ill hook you up with one for it.

Iv also heard of the bell, and honestly if you can find one Id almost recommend that over the Kjw because there probably made of the same materials, and probably extremely close in quality

out of the box performance the tanaka will win every time, But i have seen Right hook m700's and KJW m700 Hpa's side by side shooting And the kjw can shoot just as good as the Best HPA sniper on the market (highly tuned tanaka aics Made by RIght hook company)  the kjw's just need a hell of alot more work.

I can get you the Kjw or tanaka mags for 35 bucks, The problem lays with the seal between bolt and magazine, Iv upgraded the bolt seal, and the gas route spring, still sucked. Made my own route spring still sucked, Formed a new seal for the bolt that actually sealed good but it would tear after like 30 rounds or so. Iv even soaked the seal in chemicals to bloat the hell out of it, and still a bad seal. Even a brand new Gun has the same issue.

im sure the tanaka shares this same flaw
with the r hop in mine it easly reached 300 feet, but the hopup setup forces the front of the r hop down causing jams, I need to machine the hopup 1mm deeper to fix that.

And the idea that the tanaka will be better is Odd to me. because the KJW is identical, other than the hopup. Kjw went ahead and used a hopup just like the 60 doller upgrade one that uses vsr-10 barrels. So im my mind (forgive me if this may seem retarded) but the kjw to be a better design because of the hopup taking vsr barrels.

and yes the New pcs bolt has a shorter nozzle because its for the G&G m24. which uses a shorter nozzle, so the KA nozzle extension will fix that.

i figured the best way for hpa on the mag would be to use a 90* elbow  then a quick change adapter and if you hpa one mag you could just put bbs in the bolt. That what i do when i run out lol i just put a few bbs next to me and load them as i shoot

Yeah the bolts are different but King arms makes a Nozzle lengthing kit. to solve the problem

the only ithing i have seen is taking the aics and dropping it into a different stock to get rid of the L96 type stock.

and that is true with being able to crank the psi, but its all about being trusted using a gun like that, just like a polar star.

the tanaka magazine maxes at about 780 fps though, the vavle actually get forced closed by pressures over like 150 psi, so the fps actually lowers lmao

If you want one that performs, consistantly Look at none other than the Tanaka. Iv owned most of the clones and honestly to get one of them shooting like the tanaka, your going to spend the same ammount of money as the tanaka costs.

toss in a 8 doller striker spring and theres your fps upgrade. But over time ull get sick of the inefficiency's of gas and want a more consistent rifle.

the PSI in the magazine lowers every shot, so only the first shot will be what the gun should be performing at 100%

the only way to get them as efficient as a spring sniper rifle is a High pressure air setup simular to a polar star. But even then the tanaka gas sniper design has a massive flaw with the gas route from the magazine to the barrel. no matter what you do its a horrible seal.

if you go HPA, the best route is a Gas bolt, sniper rifle and getting it tapped and rigged to HPA. because the gas is released directly into the barrel. Not into the bolt and then into the barrel like the tanaka, kjw or G&G

the statement saying the kjw cannot out perform the tanaka is utter Bs though, i hooked mine up with a r hop and was able to hit things out at 150 yards no problem, i just could see the danm bb's anymore
