Help with Radio equipment
« on: December 09, 2008, 12:27:29 PM »
Hey guys, I had a question on radio equipment. I found the other threads about radio equip and read them but i still feel like i have no idea where to start with radios and equipment. What is a good basic setup for someone who knows nothing about radios, or programming them? Id like to keep the whole set up (radio, headset, dropleg pouch) around 150-200. Links to places to buy would be awsome as well. Thanks for your help

If you get it from Reddog radio just tell him to set it up for AA. He knows what to do.

+1 on Ganefs suggestions, I got my first pouch as a Coyote Tactical and got my first ICOM from Red Dog and love them.  I know a little about programming them now and trust me its not as voodoo as it seems...
