Done buisness with them twice, and both times, they sent the items quickly, and were always right, customer service is helpfull in deciding what will/wont work!

Once again, never had a problem, and when I ordered something out of stock(over a holiday), they called me and made sure to get me what I needed and gave me free upgrade to 3day shipping for the inconviniance.

General Airsoft Discussion / Re: Aftermath by Gamo....Any good?
« on: December 06, 2008, 09:08:05 PM »
Ultimentra has an Aftermath Kraken, its a cyma CM028 as far as I can tell, and so far has worked well for him, if you get it, you will NEED a tightbore. his groupings are nearly 3"wide at 50" distance! trust me, I have fired and seen it fired at many games, were talking 5-6 multi hour skirmishes. So far, good gun, and the only complaint was the furniture (he painted it when he got it) and the accuracy.

AEG's / Re: Getting a TM FAMAS soon I have Questions

Ok vince, tell you what, pull the stick out of your ass, get over your inferiority complex that comes with the tiny cock, and THEN tell us how your M4 is "t3h shi4t!!!" and instead of posting unhelpfull BS that you cant support, make a recomendation ALONG the lines of the inquirers guidelines. I for one, think its a better Idea than a jing peng, and as long as he isnt planning on a WHOLE lot of internal upgrades, like an M130 spring or something, he'll be ok.
I also believe he told me its for a Battle Rifle project, so its not a bad starting point, the best actually, read the wiki on it.

already ruled that out, messed with it for what seemed like an hour, the sound never changed except when it jammed the gears. put it back to where it was, still works.

I recently bought a DE UMP from airsoft GI and its really loud, sounds like the gears are not shimmed right, fires ok, but not great. I have never opened a gearbox before, and wanted to reshim, relube, and replace the nylon bushings with metal ones, as well as  put in an M110 and a metal spring guide, any input on if that would lessen the loud, almost scraping noise when I fire? I live in tucson, but I might be in phoenix soon, how much would they charge at gearbox for all that to be done?

Introduce Yourself! / Re: New, advice sought

Lets keep on topic here guys...
Anyways, as far as guns under the 350 fps realm, clones are king, but the one I ALMOST got for my first gun was the WELL R8, its a good gun for under $100 even after shipping, and if you look, you can get it in dept stores( sporting good stores, like big 5 and the such). here's a link to it on airsplat, another good site(in my humble opinion, I never had a problem with them the 2 times I ordered).

http://www.airsplat.com/Items/ER-WELL-R8-G3A3.htm

by the way, the 360 fps is a typo, I called them, and the person I talked to said its more like 260-280 fps.

good luck finding the guns!!

UPDATE- found a nice review of the R8, its MOSTLY*** TM or CA compatable, so it can be repaired.

heres the link
