Nationwide MILSIM Op: Shattered World *Must Read!
« on: January 15, 2009, 03:17:57 AM »
Hello Everyone,

This is my first post here on, so I would like to say hi to everyone. My screen name is Intimidator, and I'm a airsoft player from Michigan. I'm here to announce to you potentially the largest airsoft MILSIM event in Midwestern Airsoft history.

Scenario: Shattered World

Date: June 2010 (2 Day Event, Plus 1 Briefing Day)

This Scenario will be different from any other scenario ever attempted. There will be briefings and intel situations that are ongoing before the event even starts. Here are some things to expect.

- 24/7 Mission Running, Continual Scenario

- Plot Twists And Multiple Factions Involved

- Vehicles

- Possibility Of Actual Airdrops

- Limited Supply

- Realistic Commo

- S2 And TOC Elements

- Non Combatants, Role Players, And More.

- Pre Event Classes To Learn Military Operations

- Take Classes To Get Discount Off Of Ticket Price

- Hundreds Of Acres Of Combat!

Here's a Brief Scenario Teaser:

"The Year is 2017. World stability is hanging by a thin thread. The fast Asian coalition has been rapidly advancing their technology, while expanding their military prowess. The former NATO states have broken away from their ties, and now are acting upon independent intrests. The American and Russian superpowers are back into a cold war status; knowing full well the remaining oil supplies of the world are at stake. The Korean peninsula is now reunited under a monarchial republic; the Russians are pressing for rights in Georgia and the Czech republics... these are but a few of the many changes that have occurred.

Recent tensions have continued to rise between several nations, and no one is sure what the next move is going to be. The stage is set; and the world will never be the same."

Note that we realize June 2010 is a long ways off, but there are a ton of logistics here, and as we said... to simulate realism there will be things happening prior to the event for each faction. So please post here, PM me, or get ahold of me on AIM : Crescentwolf1018   if you are interested in signing up.

The Available Factions Are:

US Forces (Marines, SEALS, Delta Force)
British (Royal Marines, SAS)
Australia (Marines, ASFU)
Germany (Army, KSK)
Russia (Army, Spetsnaz)
Korea (Army, KSFU)
Asian Coalition (Army, ACSF)

We have a message board dedicated to this event. Please go there, and if you wish to sign up for the event we are now taking registrations. There is no fee to sign up right now... we want to get the players in their groups so that we can begin the pre-event storyline... that will involve players, and the end will decide how the event will go (what faction fights who, and tries to accomplish what). It can go many ways.

The message board is here
http://michigan6mm.proboards.com

In the coming months there will be a dedicated website for the event as well.
I don't get on here often (have to go to each states website for their airsoft forum.. takes alot of time on my part lol) so please if you wish to attend go and sign up on the boards, and send me a PM with the following (after you look at the scenario overview and camo requirements!):

PM Intimidator On Event Boards With The Following (Easiest to copy and paste and fill in your info)

Who are you in the airsoft community and what events have you already promoted?

What national level events have you attended?

Who is your staff for this event?

^ i bought a shamshit, littery when i got it I poured water on the floor, wanting to see how omfg amazing the shamwow was, it didnt work to grate on the tile, so I said yeah well thats slippery lets use the rug, So my dad walks down while I am pouring water all over a rug just looks at me, and walks away. Yeah the shamwow didnt do shit, all it did was get damp and then smell like shit the next few days.

but billy mays' stuff is actually pretty good (from what ive heard).

Operator error.

I have a Shamwow and a SlapChop and they both do what they say they will.

The Shamwow is a chamois so it needs to be slightly damp in order to do anything, fyi.
