General Off-Topic Discussion / Looking for a reasonable gun for my neighbor's kid.

Just as the subject says, my neighbor came up to me to day wanting to know what types/brands are good for a small kid 13-15ish...maybe? He's willing to spend $100-150 for his kids gun but wants something small and compact. He wants a metal gearbox and if possible 'metal casing'. He was thinking of getting an MP5 or something along those lines.

I'm not expert in airsoft in anyway so I thought I would ask you guys before I told him to buy some cheap p.o.s. due to the lack of experience I have myself.

So what would you think would be best?

Is it just me or since the transition from the old forums to the new forums, I am unable to receive, and as far as I know send, messages. Just wanted to know if this a problem for anyone else and or if there is a fix for it. Also I am unable to find old messages from 2-3 weeks ago.

(If you can say you pmed me on here so I can tell if people are actually pming me.

Sorry again, I try not to put video games on the site but this is one of my favorites.

Far Cry 3
Just announced at E3 and looks amazing. I loved the second, especially the in depth level creating system. Especially since you could alter the turrain , spawns, sea level, and such.
Its a FPS, sorta realistic (In the way you can't be riddled with 20 shots and run off), and usually based in Africa which connects me back there in a way, although this one is on a island.

Accessories & Gear / Where do you buy your bbs?

Looking at all the available options of getting ammo, where do you guys get your BB's?
Also I know alot of people like mixing certain BB's together, especially for night ops. 2/3 Normal BB's and 1/3 glow in the dark. So whats your favorite type of BB's?

(If getting it off eBay which specific seller?)
