If I bought a bore up kithttp://www.depot53.com/products/5/827?cat=3 and a 6.04 tight bore barrel would that increase the FPS? If so then by how much and wheres a good place to by tight bore barrels?

I like www.airsoftextreme.com for parts and guns, also I ordered a tighbore from www.airsoftatlanta.com that place is also great. FPS increase deppends on the gun usually you can expect anywhere from 10-20fps increase. It deos make a big accuracy difference though.

this will help your FPS because it provides excelent air seal.
 The less air escapes while the piston is moving, the more air you get out of the barrel.

so really... the same ammount of air is always there.. but you keep more of it with the kit. ull see about a 20-30 increase

If I just got an M120 spring what voltage battery would I need and what would be the minimum voltage I could use to effectively  run it along with the bore up kit and tight bore barrel?

i have an M120 spring in my M4. and thats all, nothing else is upgraded. I use 9.6volt battery, and i have broken 2 gearboxes. i would recomend an 8.4 unless you have a heavily upgraded gearbox (gears, piston set, bushings, air seal, head, the works). the casing itself should be reinforced too.

your best bet is a high MAH 8.4v

When a gearbox breaks does it damage the gun significantly (break in half,crack,ETC.)

negative. the most common break poing is at the front just past the cylinder. it does not damage the weapon itself, however gearboxes are not cheap to replace.   even filling a new casing with your old internals will be about $100

you're looking at around 100 for the box, and about 20 for labor if you cant swap the internals on your own

Oh, well I can definitly change out the internals myself and I can probably find someone on the forums selling a reinforced V3 gearbox for around   75$ so I can still afford another gearbox.
