Hey guys!
Our team has 2 Iraq veterans. Todd (Ranger) and Chad (Gulk). They we're both in the United States army and served. Todd went on to ranger school and earned his tab. They're both great guys and really add to the team. I think it's a little crazy to accuse them of not being who they are from just watching an airsoft video we posted on youtube. Sure, you could ask them for proof or whatever but I think that's a little low.
The rest of the team isn't affiliated with any type of military. We're just a bunch of friends who like to shoot at each other with toy guns, lol.
The images that were posted are from a web series we started which is scripted and totally "hollywood-ized". Yes, the "tactics" used were all for show and looked good enough to us, lol. It was mainly for fun and to get people pumped to play airsoft! WOOO!
Our team isn't a "MilSim" team. We don't play dress up - we play airsoft. We understand that a lot of people play airsoft for the looks and feel of real military setting (which is totally cool and we have a bunch of MilSim teams out here who are great guys) it's just not our thing. We like the competition of the sport and the team vs. team atmosphere. We like utilizing certain tactics that will help us during games, but that's the extent of it.
You have to understand that our tactics videos are a little lax and modified strictly for airsoft play. Like I mentioned, we aren't MilSim so we don't care about "strict" military technique because we're not under real fire or in immediate danger, so we can be more ballsy and do things you would never do in a real steel fire fight (like jump through a MOUT house window with two pistols, hit 2 people in the room, feel like a complete bad ass and then realize your helmet camera was turned off... true story)
I hope that cleared things up a bit. If you have more direct questions, ask us on facebook or on our forums. Everyone's pretty cool and will have no problems answering your questions.
Thanks!
