just wondering how you plan on doing this? like with the houses so close they may complain of noise.
but it does sound like fun
The closest house is up out of the river valley and several hundred feet away across open ground. The gaming, if psc is hosting it in the old location, is far from any homes.
Honestly, i see this going down badly. So count me out. My reason is the fallowing: There is too much brush, and holes in the ground, players could trip and fall in a hole and injure theyre ankle, theres already people who trip when it bright out...lol.
To much brush? unless they planted in a complete forest since i've been there last its not bad, almost perfect as thats why it was so popular way back then. As for holes, if you mean like pot holes and what not or sink holes there more likely to slip on some loose gravel that is out near the center of the field. Inherent risk of playing in a wilderness environment. Helps airsoft become that much more realistic.
And the AO seems like a perfect place for critters to come out in the night. I think it would be better hosted at ft. Adobe, fightertown, ect.. the sand, holes, brush, trash, and critters would be a bit too much for most, and the last thing we want is something to go bad. Plus, we havent explored the field enough to know if theyre is barb wire, which was a problem w/ the old hatfield. But its whatev, but i wont be attending this game. Prescott is same day and for the reasons.
Its still getting chilly at night so your more likely to find them during the day then at night. Also we've never had a problem with critters in the past other than a random cow that showed up on one end of the field and scared the crud out of a kid.
If your not wanting to show up to the game, its understandable. If you don't want to go play out in the field thats fine. As for those who are wanting to go and have a great time, more power to you. Games were great when rebel union and psc held games out there long ago and unless someone has the dumb idea of falling out of a tree for some reason doubt anyones going to go home with anything but being sore from great playing.
