Does anyone ever use the chat function that's been set up? I wander in there occasionally, and there is never anyone else. But, then again, there are seldom more than 4 or5 active members on here at any one time anyway.

I haven't seen anyone use it.  Best bet is to post a time in the "Scheduled Chat Time" forum right below the Chat link.

In order to maintain our Airsoft and 2nd Amendment rights, everyone in AA should join the NRA and/or Gun Owners of America. If it weren't for these 2 groups, we wouldn't have some of the rights we have now. There is legislation going on RIGHT NOW that will affect all of our gun rights; and when those go, the next thing Gun Control advocates will attack is Airsoft. Maybe we should have a 2nd Amendment section on the forum or something similar. If we want to keep playing, we need to stay involved, and VOTE! Thank You.

Just like the title... sometimes I think it would be kinda easy to have a link to PM someone right out of their bios, because one always seems to end up there when trying to get in contact with another.
