Team forums
« on: April 15, 2009, 07:20:20 PM »
I think since spring has come along I got in the habit of trying to make things cleaner and up to date.  I was thinking maybe we can clean up the team forums maybe by deletion or updating (these are just suggestions) the status' of the current teams and maybe a team listing for reference sake of AA including contact information etc,etc..  Also, there has been quite a bit of just random gossip among a lot of the posts and maybe if anyone were willing to take the time and delete a lot of the nonsense it would make this site much more of a resource rather than something we get on to criticize other beginners and whatnot.   These are just ideas for the forums as I've speculated there's much more that could possibly be done, and this is just a start for me.  Open to suggestions and hope moderators take this into consideration, thanks.

Here is a thread dedicated to a list of teams with contact info if they choose to list it.

Which, the team listing?

Ironically, most of the teams listed do not accept new members.

Yea the team listing, I guess I didn't take in a lot of factors into consideration when I posted but it would be nice to keep it updated.

It's cool, nobody is really going to pay attention and almost nothing is going to come of this thread.

hey id like to revive this topic for creating team forums. the team list thread was a cool idea but i think it would be a good thing to have team forums. Of course in order to have a team forum a team would have to meet different requirements like hosing a certain number of AA games and so forth. What ever the admin deem necessary to keep the forums productive.

the following is a few links to sites that have team forums that are very successful.

this is the link to my hometowns airsoft forums home page:
http://www.spokaneairsoft.com/

here is a link to the forums page where the team forum section is:
http://www.spokaneairsoft.com/index.php

and finally here is a link to the contact information in case you guys wanted to contact spokane airsofts admin:
http://www.spokaneairsoft.com/template.php?page=5

Thanks for reading
Jeremy
