I've had it for a few months. Feels more realistic than other shooters of the like. I like it a LOT more than the Delta Force series. DF was actually a turn off for me when I played it online recently, after not touching it in a few months. I have yet to purchase the Road to Rome expansion pack, but it looks promising also. Look forward to the Secret Weapons of WWII that is supposed to come out in the fall.

It's a very fun, well made game. If you do buy it, I recommand downloading the free mod "Desert Combat." It's a very well done mod that uses modern weapons/vehicles.

I know what you mean Chase, anytime I've played DF online I've been disapointed as well.

I get irritated when a great number of the players are the ones that stay up on a ridge and bob up and down behind it nailing you with a SAW from 400 yards out. Yeah, OK.

I don't know about Blackhawk Down, but Novalogic failed to address the issue of the dominance of the SAW in LW and TFD.

Has anyone already went out and bought this game, if so is it any good. I saw the review for it and it looked like a very well constructed war game with real battles and vehicles/planes/tanks that are all functional.
