To sum up my entire argument before I begin:
Most of you are wrong. Now we can get started:
Oh and games are goign to be around $70-80 a pop because of blu-ray.
Would you rather play games with 4.7GB and 9.4GB of space available? Are you aware of Microsoft also releasing HD (HD-DVD) games, which will be at a similar price?
 The PS3 is going to be way overpriced(does it reallly need a blue-ray player in it NO but it does need a HD in it)
The blu-ray video player is not so much a "feature" as it is a side effect. There will be a BD-ROM drive in the PS3 in order to play High Definition games on BD-Rs. Coincidentally, the technology allows you to view other BD-R media, such as movies. XBOX is coming out with an HD-DVD player attatchment, so you can paly its games that are on HD-DVD. It's rumored to be around $200. Without it, you will not be able to play future games, which will be in HD. You have no argument.
The PS3 will fail.
It will cost too much when it first hits the shelves.
The 360 is evenly balanced and American made. What more could you ask for
....Nintendo sucks ass.
-B00M!
1) No it will not.
2) Name one good product that is made in America.
Also, basically no consumer electronics are American made anymore, I shudder to think what these things would cost if manufacturers had to pay for American labor.
Labor is more expensive in Japan, why do you think there is a Toyota plant in Kentucky?
The reason that XBOX 360 is still so high is that it was the only one out there. Now, there are other players in the market, so all of the consoles should go down pretty quickly after their release. I would assume it would be similar to PS2/XBOX.
If by "quickly," you mean "over a year," then we'll see. I still doubt it.
No, the only reason they are still so high is because Halo 3 hasn't been released yet.
What's that have to do with anything? One game will not alter a console's price.
PS3 will be set at an outrageous price. Very few people will buy them at first.
Actually, quite a bit of people will be buying and preordering them.
Here's a break down of the most popular genre for each system:
Xbox - Shooters/fighters
PSX-PS3 - RPGs
Nintendo - Anything that falls in the middle. They deal more with oddball/party/classic games.
-B00M!
Name a shooter and fighter that XBOX has and nobody else does. Howcome one of the best, if not the best shooter out there, SOCOM, does not alter your categorization?
But after about a year from the PS3 release there will be a chip, that you can dowload games directly from your comp, of course illegal, but its an option. Plus the games (being on a blue disk) will be huge. ...
All console have/will have some sort of modchip, or ways of hacking, and I doubt the PS3's will come out one year after release. The first XBOX mod job was done about a year after it came out, but that was because the hacker was an MIT student with access to labs containing state-of-the-art mega-expensive equipment. Chances are, he's graduated now and no longer has access to this equipment.
And PS3 discs are not going to be colored blue. The only thing blue will be the color of the laser that is used to read the discs.
Are you saying that Playstation 3 is superior in quality to Xbox 360?
Because it is not.
Prove this statement, because so far, it's not true.
- Microsoft's Vista, to me, seems like a vast improvement over XP. ...But it also seems like a rip off. As for the battle of the consoles, price aside, the PS3 isthe superior system. While X360 might have cooler games, I enjoy RPGs and games that actually have a STORY to them.

Vista will be/is balls. I am definately never going to get it, for reasons I will not discuss online.
Graphics wise, the PS3 has a weaker graphics processor. Xbox has a 512mb while a ps3 has a 256mb. Plus, screenshots and the actual game are alot different. Screenshots generally look better than the actual game will look while playing. Its not always true but it usually is.
These types of things are taken out of context. For example, do you want your console to be able to produce the most triangles? PS2 could do more than XBOX, does that mean it's more powerful?
- I costs more to build an awesome computer than to just buy a gaming console. It's also less of a hassle, and more games come out for consoles.

Double No.
