I don't know much about the way the news agencies fly their crews but(like what has already been said) it seems to me that the pilot was too involved with what was happening on the ground and that does not just go for that one pilot.  That goes for all of them.  From what I understand is, when they go into an area and there are multiple helicopters, they all talk to each other communicating where they are and such essentially advising each other like an aircrew.  Why was nothing said by all the other pilots that watched it happen?

But as it stands we can only speculate what really happened.  We will see the facts once the FAA releases the accident investigation to the public.

My condolences to the family and friends of those aviators that lost their lives going something they loved.
