The SAR show was good today.  Go take a look this weekend if you get a chance.

Yes, the show was good, but the HK "presence" was deplorable.  One tiny booth with only a sample of their newest guns and two guys yojnger than me who knew nothing about the line that made H&K it's name.  Sad.
The show was great, though.  Neat toys and always something you just can't live without...

Awesome show. Went with Solitary UDT and saw Harley there. A LOT of beautiful weapons. Most of the airsoft dealers were out of state though. But I did see an airsoft MP40 (spring) which I thought was weird. Good show, hope to go to the next one.

I got a pre-ban Tec-9 and an Olympic Arms OA-96 pistol.  Your old DPMS went by-by, of course I took all the good stuff out of it first and swaped it with my stock Bushmaster parts.  And of course lots of ammo.

Vell, how do you like it (the one with the "triangle" sights, right)?  CDNN has them new for $275, and I was wondering how good of a gun it is.

John...  a TEC-9 huh?  The OA-96 - very cool.  Did you trade the DMPS for the stuff, or sell it at the show?

I like the M9 very much.  It is just as comfortable as the P99 with a much shorter (and better) trigger pull.  The triangle sights are really neat.  The bore/grip angle is 111 degrees, so it sits low in the hand.  That will help whatever little recoil the 9mm will put out.

I traded the DPMS straight up with a guy for the OA-96, I found another guy later on that I could have traded it to for a pre-ban AK as well.

As far as Columbia goes Matt.... you never can tell. [:D]

Save some of that ammo shifty... we've got a group shoot planned for the 20th out at Watson Rd.  I'll post a notice elsewhere.
