My very first favorite genre of music. I've been listening to this for the past month and a half whenever I have to study, read, or do school work of any kind. The cool thing is it somehow saves at the time you last left off. I'm now at 5 hours and 53 minutes.

I hate this stupid beats by dr dre fad, the only reason half the kids my age own them is because there popular and there friends or peers own them. You can get way better headphones with much richer audio quality and deeper bass for half the price.

It's definitely going to die out soon, a friend of mine who lives in Illinois was telling me the kids in his area who say they love dubstep and only listen to skrillex question why he still listens to dubstep. It apparently caught on in his area around late last year and is starting to fade away.

Lately I've been in to the more darker heavier mix between new and old school style and unknown artists.

Requake - Old Skool
Requake - Damage Control
Dr Philth- Mrs Blackbird ^^^BIG FAVORITE!

Datsik - Gecko VIP
^^Obviously a popular artist but I love the VIP of this tune^^

AND FOR THOSE WHO LIKE ROCK AND NINTENDO THIS IS FOR YOU
Nintendocore - Wizards and Warriors

I recommend Sennheiser and Sony's Upper End Studio Monitor Headphones, I use the MDR-V6's and they are amazing, extremely comfy, affordable, sound amazing (FLAC files shine), bassy (Not Muddy, Clear and Punchy), and don't leak sound even at max volume.

I use sennheiser earbuds, MX 580's, for earbuds, they even have good bass response and are very crisp.

I feel bad for people who shell out 200-300 for OverHyped Beats, with muddy artificial bass boost, It's all about the name. Sure, the people who buy them think they are amazing, because they have never heard anything that actually sounds good.. Hell, Even the older generation (2009ish) Bose Over Ear 2's sound amazing.
This reminds me of a Q&A thread I saw in another forum years ago... there was only one answer.

"What should I look for to tell if my headphones are good quality?"

"The Sennheiser logo."

I've got a set of PX100's, PX100-II's, and HD210's. I'd recommend any of them. I got the PX-100's on clearance from buy.com for, like, $30. Can't beat that.

Pendulum is awesome. They're the band that basically got me into electronic music. However, I'm still a rocker at heart. Back in Black by AC/DC, or Battery by Metallica to name a couple. If anyone has heard the Zed remix of Scary Monsters and Nice Sprites by Skrillex... When I need some electronic beats, that song always gets me pumped!

Oh, and on the headphones, I have a pair of $80 Sony Bass Booster headphones that sound freaking awesome. Music is decent, but they really shine when playing video games or editing movies. Good quality surround sound, and epic explosions haha.

Underground Dubstep came from UK 2step, house, beatcore, and other underpaved dub influences. I pray mainstream goes out, I used to be pretty deep in SLE, Relentless Beats, and UK Thursdays out at the School of Rock, but it all gets so old. I like the hyphy loud uppity events, but once they really grind in some dub its like what the hell all my energy just went down. Nothing against the genre, I believe we "Americans" took it too far as a trend. I mean look at LMFAO, stupid ass music, burnt brains from X, and with nothing to contribute. Shuffling? I've seen some crazy ass shufflers spinning fire at the same time and LMFAO wants to talk bout shuffling. I've personally met SKrillex, Datsik, Zomboy, Liquid Stranger, Helicopter Showdown, Nero, Bassnectar, Sluggo, Tranzit, Deadmau5, Daft Punk, Tiesto, etc. list can go on. They have even said times are even gonna change for us, and when we run out of shit to do with our music, or our design, where gonna be scratching our heads or sticking to World, or DnB. True story. I like filth though, you can really mess with the oscillators, parameters, and filters to grind out each beat. I can share some other underground artists, for darkbeat, filth, and other dub. Even now they are starting to mix dub and djent. Crazy.
