I tried to go pick up the game at Hastings today, but they were sold out [:(] I guess I should have pre-ordered it [:P]

Sounds awesome! I've been waiting for an auto hover function. Thanks for the update :)

Again, what's the bind command for the "auto hover"?  I don't see it anywhere in the menus.

Is there a demo of this avalible? It sounds insane! Call Of Duty would be much better if they included vehicles, but BF:V sounds like its more for me.

Paco,

I don't know about the auto-hover feature. It was set that way when I played. There is no extra button to push. It MAY only work in the US choppers. Just hold down "W" to get airborne, and when you reach altitude, just let go. Your chopper should level itself out and just sit there. You have to hold "W" to maneuver or fly at any angle or speed, but if you want to drop down over a base, or hover so guys can paradrop out, just try to stop the chopper from moving forward, and let go. You have to have the chopper as close to level hover as possible when you let go.

Joseph, it's a first-person shooter type of thing. Multiplayer via the internet or LAN is the best way to play, but you can set it up "Co-Op" and you can play against bots (you can set their intelligence levels, too).

Also, Paco is correct in regards to the M60. I was playing with some friends, and thought I'd even teams, so I went to the NVA's side. Everybody on the US went with M60's, and they "raped" us, as they say. I got so mad because even after I asked them to quit, they continued. They literally were unstoppable. So I told them to piss off (I don't say that unless I'm boiling over with anger) and went to start my own game. Had more fun that way.

<br />Sounds like my next game! Do you need more than 256 MB RAM to play smoothly?
<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

If it is anything like Battlefield:1942 (and it is, because the engine is the same) then you will need 512MB to avoid taking 2-3 minute to start the game (i.e. very long load times).

This game is the reason I went to 512MB.

I love BF in all its forms and I had 512mbs but that just still was too slow so I stuck in 3 sticks of 512 for a total of 1536mbs.  A 8mb buffer HD doesn't hurt eather.  And those new Serial ATA drives will load all ur info in a snap at 10000 rpm![:)]
Sorry for the Nerd rambling![;)]

I picked up a SATA drive recently, and damn, they are WELL worth the minimal time and energy of setting em up :)
Havn't tried loading a map on it though. That game loads sooooo sloooowwwww. Anyone know why, exactly? I mean, the maps really arent THAT big...

It could be that the code isnt cleaned up and It loads a lot of things that aren't needed causing it to bog down your computer.

Your avatar is so funny and scary at the same time...

Holy crap!  1.5GB of RAM?  I know a lot of workstations and servers that don't have that kind of memory!  That must have been about $400-500!  To play a $50 game? :)

I can play just fine on 512. You don't really NEED more than that, but it would be nice.
