So let's assume for a moment that it was a missile or a commuter jet or a military jet, and not a 757, that hit the Pentagon. Does it change anything? Nope. All that matters is that innocent people died. We should concentrate on making sure it doesn't happen again.

All true. Aluminum melts at approx. 1220 degrees F. Jet fuel burns at approx. 1400-1500 degrees F (depending on pressure, oxygen availability, etc).
