So I just woke up to a great freakin CNN breaking news text message. Al f***ing Qaeda has apparently set off bombs around London. Current death toll is 40, over 1000 others are injured. The G8 summit has been temporarily suspended while Blair figures out what's going on.

Back in Iraq, they also executed Egypt's top envoy to Iraq.

And the DOD has said that 5 Americans have been detained for helping the Iraqi "insurgents".

What a great f***ing morning!

Looks like there were about 7 or 8 bombs. They were on buses and in the London Underground (subway).

CNN says that the DHS threat level is supposed to be raised for today, but they obviously were informed before the DHS webmasters... still says elevated.


edit:  More awesome news for the morning. The Taliban claims that they have taken one of the MIA SEALs hostage. ](*,)

What I want to know is what do these f'n idiots think they are doing? I mean haven't they realized that they aren't spreading fear anymore but just a severe hatred for themselves? I think they are showing the world why it should unite more and more with every bomb they set off.

Thier way of thinking is far from intelligent and completely escapes "normal" reasoning. Hell even a child realizes if they act bad they soon get punnished for it, so they may try it once but they soon stop when they realize that it only gets them bad attention.

Man these jackarses piss me off!

Well, they bombed Madrid, and Spain pulled out of Iraq. Maybe they are hoping that the same thing happens with the UK.

That is precisely why you don't ever give terrorists what they want.

My friend from University sent me this email this morning, she lives up the street from where the bomb(s) went off.

"Hello everyone in email land.

Well, firstly apologies for not writing more.  Where does time go?

I thought I'd send out a quick email to let everyone out there know that James and I are OK here in London.
 The explosions happened about 8:50am and fortunately we both start work at 8am here at the London Clinic hospital.  

Where the explosions occurred are just down the road from us (Kings Cross and Edgware Road) and we indeed take the tube every day through Kings Cross as well as often catch the bus 205.  However, thankfully everyone we know is well.

The city has ground to a halt, no services running at all, which it appears is what these sick hearted terrorists wanted.

We are both at work and will stay here till things settle down a bit. I think we may have a bit of a walk home tonight, but at least we won't be stranded like so many others (in fact we may have a few stranded coming with us too).

Hope everyone is well too

Well, maybe this will help show the world why we went over and beat the shit out of two arab countries. Maybe they will understand that this terrorism shit isn't just about America, and that it is a world wide problem that EVERY country needs to participate in taking down these fucking rag-headed dune coons.

BTW whats the need for mags, grab, use, dump the gun, then use another. Iam a walking armory.
