Alt Fuels fiasco my friend.

What's funny about your comment is that the guy busta descibed probably didn't pay for his conversion either.  He might have even recieved the entire vehicle for free!

That means you get paid every two months, you mean bi-weekly.  Students should walk to school like when I was a kid, I think its pathetic every time I drive by a school parking lot on my way to work and see a line up of student vehicles waiting to park.  They should be forced to take the bus, ride a bike or WALK.

Carpooling isn't a solution for most working adults, my schedule varies from day to day, some days I have to be in a 4am to telecon with people in India, other days I'm in Phoenix till 7pm, so carpooling isn't always the answer.

Ya, my mistake on that.  Bi-weekly then.  Hehh.

ANd ya, I walk to school.  I think you and just about everyone would get a kick out of hearing how far some of the rich kids at my school drive to get to school each morning.  They burn through over a tank a week (probably because they're all driving nice new SUV's that their parents bought them when they turned 16).

ANd btw War Savage, I wasn't particularly refering to you (as ya, you're twice my age... not in your early 20's.   BUt rather, I meant how often times, things get turned around to how the youth of today dont have to deal with the hardships that the youth of before had to deal with.  Nothing personal meant there (though i do see that that could have been a conlcusion... it was rather unclear).  Sorry 'bout that!

from 100-250 dollars each pay perdiod (bi-monthly).

Or every fortnight :P

Damn man, I wish I could walk or ride my bike to school, but it's a 30 minute drive some times with light traffic...

The bus system for scottsdale sucks.  They don't have air conditioning, so the buses in the afternoons are hot as hell.  In the morning, it's slow traffic, and generally humind inside.  It's not something I would wish upon most people.  Driving, we carpool.  But the problem with that is, most teen drivers, are horrible drivers, and when you have 4+ idiots in a car, something bad will happen.
I babbled, sorry.

Hehe, no shit.  ;)

You are guaranteed to see more idiocy in a high school parking lot at 2PM in one day than you're liable to see on the roads in a month.

Cheer up, yunger guys.. Back in the mid '70's, OPEC decided to screw us and the oil supply dried up quite a bit.. The word went out to everybody to conserve  _and conserve we did! We put such a dent in the Oilmen's profit margin that the bastards gave up.

Time again to stick Bush and his Big Oil buddies in the arse! I am reducing my driving and using a 60 mpg bike instead of the 30mpg truck whenever possible. Get mad, give up the simple drives to Circle K and such. Watch what happens when those greedy un-American Sons of Bitches see the bottom line soon.

This too is gonna pass.

Just to make sure everyone knows this...

No matter how much you complaining you do on an airsoft forum, it is not going to make the gas prices go down.

Unless, OPEC is a collection of avid airsofters that read our forums daily and would do anything to appease us.

Just do what you gotta do to get by instead of living a bitter life because gas isn't as cheap as it used to be.

For me to get by, I work 2 jobs, run my own business on the side, and go to school.  I do what I gotta do.

RIGHT!!......so this topic is about the frustration and impact it has on people attending games on this forum. I don't think anyone is living a "bitter life" (poor choice of words on your part) over this. I'm sure it's not consuming their lives. If that were the case they would be picketing at the state capital building or something of the sort.

Let people vent a little, it's they're right. Don't try to tell them how they need to handle this. Everyone handles things differently. If you don't want to have controversy when you post you might want to keep that in mind.
