Not sure about the designation, but its a Puma, used in France, and England, along with various other places.

There is no radar visible.  The FCS isn't either.

The cage on the M230 wasn't installed on any A model prior to D-model conversion.  It's part of the WSPS (wire-strike protection subsystem) and it's a PITA to remove in the field.

So, yes, it is a D model.

That is not a Puma, Ian.  Try again.

Is it a Super Puma/Cougar? I jsut looked it up via google, and it looks just like that.

Though the AN-72 and AN-74 are very similar you can tell this is a 74 due to the large 74 written on the tail.
