Effiel 65... Wow.

Stick to the basic METALLICA

Wherever I may roam.... Perfect driving song, maybe a little KILL 'EM ALL if you feel like speeding speed metal.

Now some Rolling Stones wouldn't be bad if you're in the mood for some blues rock.

I find that bringing a friend's the best. I've gone on a lot of "road trips" with people on this board -- and we usually don't listen to music, but denigrate eachother and spew filth and bile. Well, that's usually me, but..

If you're flying solo, just put the iPod on shuffle and don't skip anything. Good way to hear songs that fell out of vogue with you/you haven't heard in a long time.

Drive safe!

I swore this topic has been discussed before on here. And the results were the same. It's like asking people how they think we can solve the problems in the Middle East. You'll get different opinions and then disagreeing opinions, then it will turn into an argument. I'll save everyone from listing a ton of artists and albums cause I listen to everything from ABBA to My Chemical Romance to System of the Down.

What Vince said is exactly what I do. Put it on shuffle and let everything play. Every once in a while I'll skip a song that got loaded in my iPod by accident. But for the most part, for the last 9 months I've been traveling almost every weekend. Any where from 100 miles to over 500 miles one way.

What I do is before a long trip load at least 5-10 of the newest songs you like. Then throw the Mp3 player on shuffle.
