Legally you have nothing to lose.  What your parents might do to you afterwards is unrelated and has little bearing on what happens to the sport.  You, personally, cannot lose what you don't legally have yet.  Don't play homeowner until you are one.

I recently have spoken with Ron at Jungle Toy about hosting and IDPA style airsoft event during one of JT's Safety Days.  At the US Airsoft Expo, I had a chance to go through one of the vendor's competition that was very similar to some real steel shooting competitions.  Even though it was a small course, I still had fun.  I look forward to helping JT put together their event soon.  Next time you see Ron, remind him to start working the details out!
